Mel B sizzles in a skintight red leather mini dress and thigh-high boots as she joins Simon Cowell at the America’s Got Talent semi-finals

Mel B looked stunning in a tight-fitting outfit when she attended the America’s Got Talent semi-finals alongside Simon Cowell in Pasadena, California, on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old Spice Girl made a striking appearance on the red carpet at Hotel Dena, wearing a tight-fitting red leather minidress that showed off her figure.

She completed the look with coordinating thigh-high boots featuring a small stiletto heel, and a pair of fishnet stockings.

With the end of season 20, Simon, age 65, chose his typical outfit: a dark gray, well-fitting T-shirt and blue jeans.

The duo were joined by fellow judges Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel as well as host Terry Crews. 

Fifty-three-year-old Sofia looked stunning in a black, strapless jumpsuit. It was covered in sparkly silver stars and had wide-leg trousers.

Mel B recently appeared publicly as her daughter, Phoenix Brown, shared a story about a hurtful comment her mother made: ‘I’m the famous one, and you’re not.’ Phoenix explained in a new interview that she’s determined not to live in her mother’s shadow and forge her own path.

The 26-year-old daughter of Spice Girl Mel B recently told The Daily Mail that she soon understood she needed to forge her own identity, particularly when facing discussions about being a ‘nepo baby’ – someone who benefits from family connections.

She openly acknowledged the term ‘nepo baby’ and even made a Channel 4 documentary, *Born in the Limelight – Nepo Babies: Untold*, last year. The documentary explored both the benefits and difficulties of growing up as the child of a famous person.

She’s now a DJ and artist showing her work in London while building her career. This week, she’s also making her debut at London Fashion Week, modeling for the streetwear and travel brand Sprayground.

In a recent, honest conversation, she shared that she’s currently exploring her identity – figuring out her preferences, who she connects with, and what she wants for her future. She admits she doesn’t have all the answers yet, but she’s embracing the process of self-discovery.

She credits her mother for teaching her to step out of the shadow of fame.

Phoenix revealed: ‘My mum kind of let me know that ‘I’m the famous one and you’re not.’ 

It hit me so fast – I *had* to figure out who *I* was, not just live in someone else’s shadow. Honestly, it’s been a whole process of discovering myself, a real journey!

Phoenix understands that her mother’s fame rests heavily on her time in the Spice Girls, and this is why people often refer to her as someone who benefits from family connections.

She directly addressed the topic in her Channel 4 documentary, *Born in the Limelight – Nepo Babies: Untold*.

She said of the show: ‘I was so nervous to do it just because it was such a taboo subject.

I figured there were two possible reactions: people could really dislike it and dismiss it, or they could actually listen and think about how it applies to their own lives, not just to celebrities. It’s a widespread issue that affects everyone.

And as for the ‘nepo baby’ tag?

Phoenix acknowledges being a ‘nepo baby’ – someone who benefits from family connections – and isn’t trying to hide it. They accept the label but want to be known as Phoenix.
