Mel B offers Spice Girls bandmates second chance to attend her wedding as she plans another ‘informal and sexy’ ceremony following lavish St Paul’s Cathedral celebration

Mel B is planning to invite her Spice Girls bandmates again for her wedding festivities, as only Emma Bunton was present at the wedding held at St. Paul’s Cathedral last Saturday.

50-year-old Mel B (also known as Scary Spice) has shared that she and her husband Rory McPhee, 37, plan to have a second wedding ceremony, which she described as being “less formal and more sensual,” following their first wedding in London.

Mel C (age 51) and Victoria Beckham (also age 51) both expressed their congratulations to the newlyweds, having unfortunately been unable to attend the ceremony. So far, Geri Halliwell has not publicly acknowledged the high-profile wedding event.

Mel B shared with The Sun her intentions for a second wedding to Rory, who is 37 years old, happening later in the summer. She also mentioned that she has already purchased a dress for the special occasion.

During an extraordinary afternoons’ shopping spree, I came across two flawless dresses. One was a timeless classic gown designed by the renowned British fashionist, Josephine Scott, and the other was an eye-catching, dramatic number crafted by the talented US designer, Justin Alexander.

After Mel B posted a peek at her unique “just married” ensemble, showcasing it following her extravagant wedding day.

After the ceremony, she posted on her Instagram account, where she was seen celebrating with her newlywed husband at a lavish £28K reception held at the famous London location, The Shard.

In the monochrome photograph, Mel donned a white cardigan over her stunning wedding dress, featuring the words “Just Married” neatly stitched at the back.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but exclaim that the groom exuded charm and elegance, donning a suit and kilt with such grace. His radiant smile, beaming towards his new spouse, was simply captivating. And let me tell you, their recent union was officially acknowledged in her post: ‘MARRIED’. What a magical moment for the both of them!

Various guests such as Alan Carr and Leigh Francis promptly extended their well-wishes, whereas Geri chose not to comment or speak up at that time.

Their connection is stormy, and they’ve had difficulties coexisting peacefully, often finding it hard to share the same space without tension.

On Sunday, Geri persisted in ignoring Mel B after her extravagant wedding festivities, as contrastingly, Heidi Klum, Paloma Faith, and Kerry Katona were among the celebrities who extended warm greetings to Mel B post-ceremony.

As a die-hard Spice Girls devotee, I couldn’t help but eagerly chime in on Mel B’s post, expressing my heartfelt congratulations with a flurry of exclamation marks: ‘Wohoo! What an incredible day you must have had!! Sending you all the love and kisses!!!! X 💋💋💋💋💋.’

Heidi Klum added: ‘CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH. WISHING YOU LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE FOREVER.’

Paloma Faith then added: ‘Congrats my angel you deserve the world.’ 

Alice Evans expressed: “This is all yours! I’m overjoyed for you!”

Alexandra Burke posted a brief message of: “Well done!

Katie Piper added: ‘Congratulations you deserve so much love and happiness 

Robbie Williams’ wife Ayda Field said under the post: ‘Congratulations !’.

After Mel C posted a heartwarming photo of Mel B and her newlywed spouse, celebrating their wedding day on Saturday.

In a noteworthy absence, Sporty Spice didn’t attend the wedding ceremony where her Spice Girls bandmate exchanged vows with her partner, Rory, in a grand event held in London. The guest list was filled with many high-profile personalities.

It appears that scheduling issues prevented Mel from attending, as she was performing in Sweden at the time. However, she expressed her joy and enthusiasm for the couple by posting a picture of the newlyweds on Instagram.

She expressed disappointment at not being able to attend, but assured them they would reunite soon and catch up in the near future.

In her online post, she overflowed with affection in the caption: ‘Extremely joyful for you two and genuinely disappointed I wasn’t able to attend. Can’t wait to toast your celebration shortly! Hooray!’

Victoria was unable to attend the ceremony, yet she posted a charming vintage photo of herself and the bride with bandmates Geri, Mel C, and Emma on her Instagram.

Posh, who is 51 years old, wrote in the caption: ‘Congratulations @officalmelb @rorymcphee on your special day! I am thrilled for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! Lots of kisses xx’

Earlier today, Victoria too shared another heartfelt tribute for the couple on Friday, accompanied by a photo of them both looking stylish at a recent gathering.

She gushed in a caption: ‘Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx’

Prior to the wedding, it was reported by the Mail that there were no hard feelings between Victoria and Mel, just a matter of conflicting schedules.

Victoria has had prearranged commitments abroad that prevent her from being present. She truly enjoys Mel’s company, and surprisingly, they manage to connect well despite their diverging life paths. It’s quite unfortunate.

‘There is no issue between them, they haven’t fallen out. It’s just one of those things.’

Geri and Mel ended up at odds, as it was disclosed during Mel B’s interview on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories that they were involved romantically when their band was first forming.

In 2019, Geri was reportedly greatly distressed by a surprising disclosure that Mel allegedly hasn’t offered an apology for.

Sources also say that Geri’s husband Christian Horner was ‘mortified’ about Mel’s claims. 

Despite the absence of the other Spice Girls, Emma graced the event with her presence, looking stunning in a chic pink gown, as she came out to back Mel B.

Emma was joined by her husband, Jade Jones, along with their seventeen-year-old son, Beau. On this special occasion, both Emma’s husband and son were well-dressed and stylish.

Outside the cathedral, Baby Spice graciously paused to sign an autograph for an enthusiastic admirer.
