The conservative commentator didn’t like what Sweeney wore – a revealing silver dress – but suggested someone might have intentionally chosen it for her at the Variety event in Los Angeles.
She expressed her strong disapproval, stating the dress was completely see-through and revealed too much, specifically mentioning it showed the woman’s nipples.
Kelly commented on the actress’s large breasts, describing them as impressive, but then drew a negative comparison between her and Kim Kardashian’s style.
Kelly explained that the person reminded her of Kim Kardashian – someone who reveals a lot personally, but then creates distance by not fully letting people in, playing on the desire for a genuine connection and leaving a bit of mystery.
Kelly, a fan of Sydney Sweeney, is concerned that the actress and other celebrities might be tricked into wearing overly revealing clothes.
I suspect she was tricked or convinced to do something she wouldn’t normally. I believe that’s what happened. For example, when I did a photoshoot for GQ, my outfit was perfectly fine – just a simple slip dress. I definitely didn’t reveal anything revealing, and I never would.
Kelly believes the woman is quite young and likely didn’t make the questionable fashion choice on her own. She suggests someone encouraged the outfit, and the woman unfortunately trusted the wrong person, leading to the public seeing it, as Kelly put it.
The 28-year-old White Lotus actress showed off her figure on Wednesday night in a shimmering silver dress. The dress featured a see-through top, highlighting her cleavage.

The actor mentioned that they often portray controversial characters, and because of that, many people believe they have a good understanding of who they are as a person, but that’s not actually the case.
When people label me as a ‘sex symbol’ or assume I’m playing into that image, I actually just feel confident and empowered, and I’m doing it for my own enjoyment.
The actress shared that she hopes to empower other women to embrace their bodies, feel confident, and not feel the need to apologize for who they are or hide themselves in any situation.
