Meghan Trainor has spoken out about how upset she was with people online who criticized her after she changed her appearance.
After having her sons, Riley, age four, and Barry, age two, with her husband Daryl Sabara, Meghan Trainor had breast augmentation surgery and lost 60 pounds.
Earlier this year, fans began speculating about the 31-year-old’s weight loss, noticing her slimmer figure as the use of Ozempic became popular in Hollywood.
In April, she confirmed the rumors, stating she had been using Mounjaro, a medication similar to Ozempic that was first created as a treatment for diabetes.
Although many people online praised her honesty, Meghan Trainor has revealed she also faced criticism for how she changed her body.
She described a growing sense of negativity, saying things felt increasingly chaotic and harsh. She wondered if the rising noise around her was due to the world changing, or if it was simply a reflection of her own struggles, but insisted she wasn’t the one changing. She shared this with Entertainment Tonight.

After having children, I’m finally prioritizing my health like never before, and I honestly feel and look amazing. So it really shocked me when people started criticizing me – I just couldn’t understand it!
I told them, “Look, I’m handling things on my own. If you have a problem with that, that’s your issue.” Honestly, I just need to figure out how to not let their negativity bother me anymore.
Trainer just released a new song called ‘Still Don’t Care’ that’s aimed at people who harass her online. In the song, she describes herself as someone who doesn’t get bothered by negativity, saying she’s ‘too cool to cry’ and ‘too hot to stress’.
She revealed she was using Mounjaro on April Fool’s Day, responding to online speculation that started after people noticed a change in her appearance on the red carpet.
She admitted she’s changed over the past decade, explaining that she’s focused on becoming healthier and stronger, both for herself and to be a good role model for her children.
After having my second baby, I focused on getting back in shape. I worked with a nutritionist, made big changes to my daily habits, and started training with a fitness professional. I also used medication – specifically, Mounjaro – along with support from others, and I’m really happy with the results – I feel fantastic!
She encouraged everyone to celebrate their skills, personal development, and the importance of self-care. She ended her message with a call to focus on what truly matters, signing it ‘With love’.
Trainor has gained a lot of fans for being open and honest about her weight loss journey, including the medical procedures she’s had.

This March, she excitedly showed off her breast augmentation and lift on Instagram.
She shared that she never felt good about her breasts before her surgery, explaining they were uneven and had always drooped.
While discussing her past appearance, she shared old footage of herself posing in a see-through white top without a bra.
She announced her upcoming surgery in a post created with Motiva, the company that made her breast implants. She highlighted that the implants offered a natural appearance and comfortable feel.
She described her breasts as looking fuller but still natural, and said they now balanced her figure perfectly. She playfully added that they finally matched in size, like twins rather than distant relatives.
She showed off the results of her breast augmentation a few months after telling everyone she was planning to get the surgery.
She first shared the news in November 2024, explaining she was ready for the procedure now that she had finished breastfeeding.
She explained on her podcast that her breasts were initially full of milk, then emptied, and then refilled, describing the fluctuating supply as she navigated breastfeeding.

The singer of ‘All About That Bass’ jokingly revealed she’s experienced weight fluctuations, leading to changes in her body, specifically saying she’s lost weight and now has less firm breasts.
It’s tough because when I’m trying on all the great outfits for tour and upcoming shows, I need to wear really supportive bras,” she explained.
They make my clothes look bad and are really uncomfortable. I’ve been saying for years that I’d love to get breast implants!
She revealed she’d always dreamed of getting breast implants and was excited to finally have a fuller chest that would lift her figure.
The trainer explained that the results wouldn’t be large-scale, admitting they’d be quite small. However, achieving even a small result would be a significant boost to their confidence.
