Meghan McCain, 41, joyously announces birth of third child and reveals baby’s unconventional name

Meghan McCain happily shared the news over the weekend that she welcomed her third child, a baby boy, on Friday.

Meghan McCain, age 41, and her husband, Ben Domenech, a political commentator, are parents to two daughters: Liberty, who is five, and Clover, who is two.

The couple recently had a baby boy, and they’ve continued their tradition of choosing unique names, just like they did for their two daughters.

I’m so thrilled to share the wonderful news! Our sweet baby boy, Ransom McCain Domenech, finally made his grand entrance into the world on January 2nd, right at dawn. He’s a healthy 9 pounds 2 ounces, and we are completely overjoyed!

We’re overjoyed and relieved. Everyone is doing well, though we’re all very tired. We’re incredibly thankful for the amazing care we received from the doctors and medical staff.

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that Liberty and Clover are over the moon about becoming big sisters! Our family feels so incredibly blessed right now, and we’re so grateful for all the lovely messages, well wishes, and prayers we’ve received. We’re officially a family of five, and it’s the best feeling in the world!

She shared the happy news with a post on Instagram, including a sweet photo of McCain and Domenech lovingly looking at their new baby in the hospital.

Dominich gently held her newborn baby close to McCain while she rested in the hospital, lovingly cuddling the new family member.

I also shared a sweet photo of baby Ransom catching some Zzz’s. He was still at the hospital, all cozy and wrapped up in a blanket with the cutest little cap on his head. It just melted my heart!
