Meghan Markle’s Netflix Editing Fail Exposed

In a fresh wave of controversy surrounding Meghan Markle’s latest Netflix show, it’s been alleged that producers were compelled to overdub the actress inquiring about her guests’ lives, as she reportedly spoke excessively about her own experiences instead.

Meghan, aged 43, as the Duchess of Sussex, extends invitations to both acquaintances and high-profile individuals to her 14.65 million dollar Californian residence, which she co-owns with her spouse Prince Harry, for a gathering where she imparts cooking and hosting advice.

In certain episodes, it has been noted by some spectators that Meghan tends to focus on discussing herself for a significant amount of time. Later on, the producers incorporated voiceovers where she inquires her guest stars with questions.

In the second installment of the series, Meghan extends an invitation to American actress Mindy Kaling to her opulent residence for a tutorial on preparing delectable hors d’oeuvres and organizing an upscale kids’ celebration.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a pair of children: Archie, aged five, and Lilibet, who’s three. Meanwhile, Mindy, 45 years old, is a mother to Katherine (age seven), Spencer (age four), and Anne (two), but she hasn’t disclosed the identity of their father.

Throughout the episode, Meghan often conversed about the dishes she was preparing and shared various tales from her personal life with Mindy. One such tale involved her late science teacher, Mr. Ben.

While Mindy rarely disclosed details about her personal life, she often praised Meghan’s lifestyle instead.

Towards the end of the show, it was revealed that Mindy had a fondness for restaurants and food during her childhood.

Yet, it seemed that the comment wasn’t originally from Meghan, as a distinct voiceover of the Duchess, sounding like her, was added to the video, posing the question to Mindy: “What sorts of activities did you enjoy as a child?

Later, the scene returns to Mindy and flashbacks of her childhood are shown as she says, ‘As a kid, I had a passion for restaurants and food. I’d scour for small recipes and prepare meals for my parents right at home.’

It isn’t clear whether Mindy was prompted by the producer to reveal a tale from her childhood, or if she willingly chose to share that information on her own.

Megyn Kelly, a well-known American media figure, pointed out an observed issue – it seemed that Meghan frequently discussed herself in her Netflix series, instead of asking questions to her guests, which occurred seldom.

During the moments when Meghan questioned her about the lifestyles of her famous acquaintances, the inquiries were more like statements posed as questions during the recording process.

‘You can see the break,’ Megyn, 54, said on her podcast.

It’s as if she needed guidance to act like a genuine friend, showing genuine concern for others rather than just focusing on herself.

Following Meghan’s response to accusations that she was disconnected from reality, after her Netflix series premiered.

In response to criticism about being “tone deaf,” Meghan, who resides in a spacious home in Montecito with Prince Harry and their children, has stated that she maintains friendships with mothers who stay at home as well as women who hold typical jobs outside the home.

Apart from that, she shared that she attends yoga and fitness sessions alongside around 40 to 50 people. Occasionally, she goes alone or with companions, and in a recent instance, she even acknowledged a fellow participant nearby with a friendly fist bump and “well done”.

Meghan expressed that once people get to know us, they’d likely wish for us to enjoy the same ordinary life as parents and for our kids, just like any other family, even though our circumstances might be exceptional.

She shared with People that she has a few female friends residing in California, and they include stay-at-home mothers as well as working women who hold regular jobs. Unlike celebrities, they are not well-known figures in the public eye.

Initially, we only bonded through our children, but now we also enjoy activities such as going out for girls’ nights or practicing Pilates together.

It came after With Love, Meghan was widely panned and branded ‘out of touch’. 

Justine Bateman, known for her roles in Family Ties and Desperate Housewives, stated that the Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix series hasn’t gained traction as viewers are not interested in “seeing someone pretend to excel at something they haven’t truly earned.

She expressed that she doesn’t think anyone wants harm for ‘Meghan,’ and she is entitled to launch a cooking show, as well as start one or even two podcasts.

But she added the public also have the right not to ‘go along with another’s “narrative” anymore’.
