Meghan Markle is returning to acting after an eight-year break. She left Hollywood to become a full-time royal.
Now she is set to star in a new film alongside Lily Collins, Brie Larson and Jack Quaid.
Meghan Markle is expected to appear as herself in the upcoming movie, Close Personal Friends. The film centers around two couples – one where the partners are well-known, and the other where they aren’t.
She was seen on set today in Pasadena, LA, in the Amazon MGM Studios production.
According to a source, this is a big step for Meghan and means she’s getting back to doing what she’s passionate about.
‘She has been swamped with offers but this one felt right.
Prince Harry is very supportive of Meghan and just wants her to be happy and pursue what she enjoys.
I first discovered Meghan on Suits – she was absolutely fantastic as Rachel Zane! But before she became a household name, I actually spotted her in a few movies too, like Horrible Bosses, Get Him To The Greek, and Remember Me. She’s always been a talented actress!
Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020 and moved to the US.
