Meghan Markle revealed how she and Prince Harry are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with their two children at their home in Montecito, California, which is valued at $30 million.
Meghan Markle, 44, shared in her latest newsletter for her lifestyle brand, As Ever, that her family – including Prince Harry, 41, and their children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four – grow sage in their garden and use it to flavor meals they cook at home.
According to a recent newsletter, sage is one of Meghan Markle’s preferred flavors. She’s also been sharing photos and videos of sage blooming in her garden on Instagram over the past year.
The newsletter explained that the beautiful purple fields you’ve been seeing in our Instagram photos of Meghan aren’t lavender, but actually flowering sage – specifically, a variety called Santa Barbara.
This wasn’t just Meghan Markle’s effort; the whole family participated in harvesting from their garden.
She fondly remembered walks in the garden with Harry, Archie, Lilibet, and their dogs, picturing the beautiful sage plants as the setting for their happy family time together.

The newsletter described idyllic walks where Archie and Lili ran ahead, her husband tended to his bees, and their dogs, Pula and Mia, played—turning simple outings into something special and memorable.
‘And that sage, that purple, that scent around the garden, was always there in the background.’
Oh my gosh, you guys, did you hear? Meghan actually shared the sweetest little story about her family, and it totally made me want to rush over and buy some of her As Ever honey! It’s the Sage Honey with Honeycomb, and it’s $32 for a 9oz jar on their website. I need it in my life, seriously. Everything she touches is just… perfect!
According to the newsletter, Meghan Markle created the product after combining sage grown in her garden with honey from her own bees.
It quickly became a ‘treat’ loved by her family as well as the friends she has gifted it to.
Now, she wants fans to have an opportunity to try the ‘stunning’ drizzle for themselves.
I’m absolutely loving this new honey from As Ever! Their newsletter described it perfectly – it’s a beautiful sage honey, with this incredible earthy aroma and a really sophisticated, yet simple, flavor. It’s inspired by the treats they enjoy with family at home, and you can really taste that warmth and comfort in every drop. It’s a truly special honey – a little bit of everyday luxury.
I’m so excited to share my favorite holiday secret with you! Our Sage Honey is finally here, and it’s absolutely perfect for Thanksgiving. I love drizzling it over the turkey or the veggies – it adds such a unique flavor. But honestly, it’s amazing in everything! Try whisking it into a vinaigrette for your salad, or just enjoying a spoonful in your tea. Trust me, this honey is going to be the star of your holiday meal, and everyone will be asking for your secret!
For customers who bought Meghan Markle’s honey, she shared tips on enhancing its flavor and making memorable Thanksgiving dishes – creating a special holiday experience.
You can easily make a tasty glaze inspired by Markle’s As Ever Sage Honey by simply mixing in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, spices, and cooking stock.

According to the newsletter, Meghan Markle envisioned the flavors of her Thanksgiving turkey when she first began planning the Holiday Collection months ago – specifically, she imagined drizzling sage honey on it.
As Ever’s Instagram page posted a video of the stunning brunette preparing a turkey dinner. She looked beautiful in a burgundy dress while glazing the bird at her family’s table.
The video also featured Markle carefully arranging beautiful table settings, with cloth napkins secured by green velvet ribbons placed on delicate porcelain plates.
The post, shared Tuesday, was captioned: ‘Our table is set with a seat just for you’
Markle loves the holidays and has been actively promoting As Ever’s festive collection as Thanksgiving and Christmas approach.
Last November, Meghan Markle shared with Marie Claire that they usually keep their Thanksgiving celebrations at their Montecito home relaxed and simple.
She noted that he consistently includes friends without family in his gatherings, which she felt was particularly important.
Markle emphasized that her children, Archie and Lilibet, are her top priority, and she feels the holidays have become even more enjoyable as they’ve gotten older.
We always try to keep things lively and entertaining. Initially, as a mother with young children, you’re just happy to have them present, but they don’t fully grasp what’s going on at that stage,” she said.
‘But now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.’

Meghan Markle’s newest newsletter arrived shortly after criticism of a recent holiday campaign for her lifestyle brand, which some called bland and gloomy. This came after she previously stated she felt she had to lessen her vibrant personal style when she was a member of the Royal Family.
On Saturday, she posted a short video to Instagram showing her putting together Christmas gifts. She’s been promoting her As Ever holiday collection, which features items like a $64 candle, champagne, and a mulled spice kit.
In a brief video clip, Meghan Markle was shown placing a gift into a gray stocking hung on their fireplace mantel, then she smiled with her hands clasped together.
The room’s interiors featured calming, natural colors, echoing the soft green of the fir decorations. Delicate fairy lights were thoughtfully arranged to add a subtle sparkle.
The photo’s caption playfully said, ‘We see you!’ and joked, ‘You’ve already finished your holiday shopping, even before Thanksgiving!’
However, some fans felt the promotional materials were too polished and lacked the cheerful spirit of the holidays. They criticized the color scheme, describing it as dull and uninspired instead of the vibrant and festive look they expected.
Someone on X recently asked why there’s a lack of traditional Christmas colors and cheer, wondering where all the festive ‘merry and bright’ spirit has gone.
This clip evokes absolutely no sense of holiday spirit. It’s just bleak and dull, like a plain manila envelope.
Many people commented on the post, and one person wrote, ‘She always uses neutral colors like beige and brown. Her style never feels cheerful, cozy, or welcoming.’

‘Nothing says Christmas like olive green and beige!’ a third sarcastically remarked.
Some also noted that the Duchess had previously expressed feeling restricted in her clothing choices, explaining she’d had to limit bright colors so as not to stand out too much next to more senior royals.
The claims were made in the third episode of her Netflix series, Meghan & Harry, released in 2022.
She explained that during her time in the UK, she mostly avoided wearing bright colors. Apparently, there’s a rule against wearing the same color as the Queen or any other senior royal at group events.
As a style expert, I’ve always been fascinated by the unspoken rules around royal dressing. I recently learned that Meghan apparently adopted a very neutral palette – lots of camels, beiges, and whites – to align with what she understood to be royal protocol. It’s a clever way to show respect while still maintaining her own sophisticated style!
She explained that she preferred wearing neutral colors because she didn’t want to draw attention to herself; she simply wanted to fit in.
I never would have joined this family without making a real effort to belong. And I definitely don’t want to bring any shame to them.
People on social media noticed the former Suits actress, wearing a brown silk dress, now seems to be adopting a similar style, characterized by subtle, understated colors.

Things are really busy for me right now! I’m thrilled to be launching my new festive collection, and I’m also back on set filming a movie called ‘Close Personal Friends’ for Amazon MGM Studios. It’s my first acting project since 2017, and I couldn’t be more excited to be diving back in!
The film features Lily Collins, known for her role in Emily in Paris, Brie Larson from Captain Marvel, and Jack Quaid, whose parents are actors Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan.
Recent reports indicate that Netflix executives have taken notice of attempts to attract Amazon’s Jeff Bezos to join their team.
Most industry insiders consider the Netflix deal struck by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which concluded in September, to be unsuccessful, despite reports that Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos personally likes Meghan very much.
Many people in Hollywood and at the streaming service have reportedly been talking a lot about Meghan’s return to acting, according to several sources.
