All aboard the love boat!
NBA player Klay Thompson has named his boat after his new girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion.
A photo posted to Megan Stallion’s Instagram shows her on a boat, seemingly enjoying the scenery. The 30-year-old rapper appeared to be standing near the edge of the vessel, nicknamed ‘SS Stallion’.
The photo appeared among a series of images the 35-year-old posted on Sunday, and was immediately followed by a picture of Thompson sitting inside the stylish vehicle.
Thompson loves both his girlfriend and boating, and his girlfriend has happily supported his passion for it as their relationship has grown.
Thompson has shared photos of a stallion accompanying him on boat trips, whether he was fishing or simply relaxing.
The boat name is just another sign of how devoted the couple are for one another.
Last week, Stallion posted a video showing her cooking Thanksgiving dinner for Thompson and his family. She also suggested they’ve been getting more serious in their relationship, possibly making a big commitment last month.
A photo she posted sparked speculation they had even moved in together.
In October, Stallion shared a photo of two hands making a heart shape, with a set of keys visible between them.
In the background a white house with floor-to-ceiling windows could be seen.
Lots of the performer’s fans noticed a hand that looked like Thompson’s in a photo, which sparked rumors that the couple had become more serious and were now living together.
People filled her comments section with supportive messages, including one expressing how happy they were for her.
‘It’s me smiling like I’m part of this family,’ wrote another.
Someone commented that the couple might be getting engaged, writing, “We love to see a Black woman happy and loved! Future Mrs. Thompson!”
One fan jokingly said, “A house? Things are moving fast! I need to meet him before I give my approval.” Another fan expressed their surprise, simply asking, “You two bought a house together?!”
This post follows Stallion’s first appearance as an NBA wife or girlfriend last month. She was seen at a Mavericks preseason game against the Lakers in October.
She attended a regular season game to cheer on the four-time NBA champion as his team, Dallas, played against Oklahoma City Thunder.
People started speculating about a possible romance between the couple in July after the singer posted photos from her trip to the Bahamas.
Fans spotted Thompson in the background of the pictures, leading to speculation that the two were dating.
I was so excited when they finally confirmed what everyone was saying! It happened just days later, and they made it official with a date night right in New York City. It was amazing to see them together!
The next night, they appeared together on the red carpet at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala, holding hands.
