Megan Thee Stallion returns to Moulin Rouge on Broadway just days after health scare that saw her hospitalized mid-performance

Megan Thee Stallion has made a triumphant return to Broadway after suffering extreme exhaustion.

The singer, 31, returned to the stage on Thursday night to perform in Moulin Rouge after a short break.

Fans saw her arriving at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre wearing a pink velour tracksuit before the show, which was completely sold out.

Megan put on the hood of her jacket, covering her long, straight, black hair, and finished her outfit with fluffy green boots.

She showed off her long, pointy, red manicure while carrying her phone in one hand.

The singer, originally from Houston, didn’t perform on Wednesday and had to stop during Tuesday’s show because they weren’t feeling well soon after it began.

She was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for the medical emergency.

A spokesperson for the rapper, who plays Zidler in the show, told The Daily Mail that Megan was taken to a nearby hospital on Tuesday evening after experiencing worrying symptoms and needing a medical check-up.

Doctors determined that Megan’s symptoms were caused by severe exhaustion, dehydration, narrowed blood vessels, and a slowed metabolism. She received treatment, was released from the hospital, and is now recovering at home.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Megan is just… so touched by all the love and prayers! She’s seriously overwhelmed and so excited to be back as Zidler in Moulin Rouge this Thursday! I’m literally counting down the minutes! It’s amazing she’s feeling better and ready to perform again. I’m so happy for her!

The Body hitmaker took to Instagram on Wednesday to break her silence.

She shared with her 33 million followers that the previous night was a turning point. She realized she’d been overworking herself and ignoring her body’s signals, and it finally forced her to slow down.

I was really frightened. I almost passed out while performing, but I did my best to finish, though I couldn’t manage it.

The award-winning artist spoke directly to her fans, saying she needed a day to rest and recharge. She explained that she hates disappointing them, but she needs to prioritize her own well-being.

She promised to return to the stage on Thursday, feeling better and more focused, and ready to give her all for her fans. She expressed gratitude for their continued support and love, even during difficult times.

Megan began performing as Zidler in the Tony Award-winning musical on March 24th, and her run is scheduled to continue until May 17th.

Ahead of her debut she expressed her excitement about the opportunity, calling it an ‘honor.’

She expressed her excitement and said it was a dream come true to perform on Broadway with the cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, according to Playbill.

As someone who really values personal growth, I’ve always been driven to explore new creative outlets. That’s why I’m so thrilled to be diving into the world of theatre – it feels like a fantastic challenge and a really exciting opportunity for me!

Performing on Broadway requires a lot more focus, practice, and skill in bringing a story to life, but I’m excited to take it on. I can’t wait for my fans to see a different side of my talent!
