As a die-hard fan of Megan McKenna, I must say I am over the moon with joy and admiration for her latest life adventure! From the UK to Germany, she has embarked on an exciting journey, not just geographically, but also as a new mother. The way she has embraced this new chapter in her life is truly inspiring.
On a beautifully bright day, Megan McKenna gleamed with joy while posting touching new images of her freshly born child, Landon, on Friday.
Previously known TOWIE celebrity, aged 32, revealed emotionally touching news about the birth of their son, Landon Henry, with her partner, footballer Oliver Burke (age 27), on a Wednesday night.
In one instant, Megan held the baby against her chest, swathed in a white bathrobe; in another, she had him seated on her lap.
Previously crowned X Factor champion likewise shared a photo featuring her partner, Oliver, tenderly holding their newborn son while showcasing several of the infant’s adorable facial expressions.
Apart from sharing the pictures, Megan also shared her personal experience of breastfeeding with her audience, describing it as both “beautiful” and “painful”.
She wrote: ‘Landon had his first night at home… I can’t stop staring at him he’s just perfect. He’s latched onto my boobies so good, and I have to say, it’s the most beautiful and painful thing I’ve ever experienced at the same time.
Initially, there were issues with my baby’s latch which led to some nipple injury. Consequently, it’s taking a while for them to heal. I’m persevering through the discomfort, and luckily, each day seems to bring a bit less pain.
He had a significantly improved sleep last night; he’d been under the weather and felt especially fond of his dad, considering him the best in the world.
I’m deeply grateful to everyone who’s reached out with messages, comments, and affection towards us and Landon. Your kind words have left me feeling incredibly moved.
As a dedicated fan, I’m making progress, though the swelling is still a struggle, and my feet bear an uncanny resemblance to Shrek’s at times. It’s all part of the fandom journey… apologies for any delayed responses, as I’ve been burning the midnight oil with little rest.
I can’t express enough gratitude towards the doctors and nurses at the hospital for the exceptional treatment and care we received. It was truly remarkable.
On Tuesday, Megan delivered Landon through a Caesarean section. She posted unedited clips from the birth that took place in Germany.
She captioned the post announcing his birth: ‘Landon Henry Burke. 07.10.24. 08.33am 9.2’.
Megan’s famous friends congratulated the couple on their new arrival in her comments.
As a loving aunt-to-be, I’m absolutely ecstatic about our precious baby Landon! He’s already adored, and I can hardly contain my excitement to fulfill my role as an aunt once more. My affection for everyone involved in this joyous occasion knows no bounds – I can hardly wait to envelop him in the warmest of hugs! ❤️
