Honestly, it breaks my heart to hear Megan talk about this. She’s shared that all the negativity around her past – you know, her history with stripping and her work on OnlyFans – really messed with her head. She actually started feeling like she didn’t deserve to have a happy ending, like she’d never be worthy of getting married or having a family. It’s just awful, and she’s amazing regardless of what anyone says!
The 31-year-old former Love Island contestant, who says she makes £800,000 each month from the platform, remembered agreeing with how people negatively perceived her, rather than challenging it.
In an interview on the Happy Place podcast with Fearne Cotton, she shared her worries about how her past experiences – including time spent in sex work and as a social butterfly – might affect her future. She expressed fear that people would judge her, believing she wouldn’t be seen as a suitable wife or a good mother.
Megan said she prepared for criticism by pretending she didn’t want a long-term relationship. She’d respond with a firm ‘no’ and immediately become defensive.
As she’s gotten older, she’s realized she wasn’t truly happy with how things were and now wants to find love and start a family.
I definitely want to find a husband and have a family someday, but I’ve always felt like people questioned if I’d be a good mother.
Considering everything I’ve been through, I’m presenting a tough exterior, saying I don’t care and I’ll just enjoy life with my friends. But that’s not really how I feel inside.
Megan, who once said plastic surgery made her a confident performer and used to aspire to be a glamour model, realized that job interviews often included questions about her future family plans, like whether she wanted children or to get married.
This follows Megan’s statement that she felt ‘distressed’ and ‘unsafe’ after being followed by two men in a car.
The TV star used her Instagram Stories to share a frightening experience and advise her followers to be careful.
She posted a warning online, along with a photo of a comparable vehicle, advising women and dog walkers in Benfleet, Hadleigh, and Rayleigh to be cautious.
A black Mercedes station wagon with two men inside followed me. They repeatedly drove alongside me, circling the area and trying to get my attention.
I felt scared and worried that either I or my dog might be kidnapped. I vaguely recall the incident possibly happening near junction 10, but I’m not certain. The vehicle involved looked like the one I remember seeing.
She concluded: ‘Please trust your instincts and look out for each other.’
Megan has shared that she was bullied at school because of her nose and ears, which led her to consider changing how she looked.
Megan, who struggled to cover even her commuting costs from Essex to London, shared her story with dating coach Paul Carrick Brunson on his ‘We Need To Talk’ podcast.
A 50-year-old man, Paul, asked a woman why she chose to have breast augmentation after already undergoing ear surgery. He was curious about her motivation for the procedure at that point in her life.
Megan admitted: ‘I’ll be brutally honest – money.
I was happy with my body and felt comfortable with my natural breasts. However, I saw this woman online who was earning a lot of money doing suggestive modeling, and I admired that she was her own boss.
I recall telling my first boyfriend, feeling insecure, ‘She’s earning so much money, and I think I’m more attractive. I believe I could achieve the same success if I had a different body type.’
‘I wanted my nose done, that was another thing from school kids would pick on.’
As a lifestyle consultant, I’ve definitely seen people explore various avenues to boost their confidence and income. Megan shared with me that she wasn’t comfortable with the idea of undergoing multiple surgeries over time, so she decided to have breast augmentation and a rhinoplasty done together. Her goal was to potentially leverage those changes – whether through social media or opportunities like the now-discontinued Page 3 – to create financial opportunities for herself. It’s a bold strategy, and she’s taking control of her image and future.
I dreamed of becoming a glamour model, one of the girls featured on Page 3. I was stuck in a low-paying job in London, and I could barely afford the commute from Essex. I felt like there had to be more to life than that.
