Meet Jordyn Blum, Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl’s wife of 21 years as he admits to fathering secret baby daughter

In a recent revelation, Dave Grohl, the lead singer of Foo Fighters (aged 55), who tied the knot with his second wife Jordyn Blum (48) in 2003, disclosed that he is striving to salvage his marriage and rebuild his relationship with his three eldest daughters, following the public exposure of his infidelity.
Grohl and Blum were known as one of Hollywood’s most robust couples, recently seeming more joyful than ever at the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London just a couple of months back.

Back in 2001, I had the incredible fortune of crossing paths with my idols at the Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in sunny West Hollywood, California. Fast forward to August 2, 2003, and I was beyond ecstatic to witness their beautiful union taking place right at their LA residence. What a magical journey it’s been ever since!
In a 2007 GQ interview, during their initial encounter, Grohl playfully predicted to Jordyn that she would become his former spouse, foreshadowing their future relationship.
In a delightful turn of events, I found myself in the company of the charismatic Taylor [Hawkins] at the Sunset Marquis’ whiskey bar. The man was quite the eye-catcher, drawing admiring glances from the ladies who even went so far as to send him drinks. Then, a stunning beauty graced us with her presence and engaged Taylor in conversation.
Recently concluded a Tenacious D meeting. My attire consists of Vans sneakers, no socks, grubby shorts, and an equally unclean T-shirt. I responded with something along the lines of “Oh my God, no way!” So, I’m just hanging out, enjoying some drinks, and acting like a bit of a goofball.
By the end of the evening, I was quite drunk and found myself looking at her, saying, “You’ll be my former spouse.” Surprisingly, she provided me with her contact information: ‘Here’s the number for Jordyn, my future ex-wife.’
On several occasions, we crossed paths. However, it eventually struck me that this was a significant moment, the culmination, if you will. And in that instant, I found myself pausing and reconsidering. Consequently, I decided to step back.
Grohl told Elle in 2007 that he stopped calling Blum after a few dates.
Three months later, my heart pounding with excitement, I made the call to her once more. To my delight, she answered, and her voice echoed, “I didn’t think I’d ever hear from you again.
Jordyn previously worked as a model and TV producer – working at MTV when she first met Dave.
The musician, frequently labeled a “family-oriented individual,” has consistently emphasized the significance of his family during various interviews over the years.
Back in 2007, I shared with The Guardian that my wonderful wife, Jordyn, and our precious daughter, Violet, serve as anchors, preventing me from vanishing entirely.
Speaking to TIME in 2012, he said his family ‘changed everything that I do.’
He added: ‘It’s changed everything that I do. When you have kids, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate. It’s inevitable that that would make its way into your songwriting.’
Although not much is widely disclosed about Blum, it’s been reported that she graced the cover of Teen magazine following her discovery at a supermarket when she was just 12 years old.
Blum was reportedly working as a producer at MTV when she met the frontman.
On various occasions, Blum has worked alongside the Foo Fighters, one of which being their 2002 music video for “White Limo,” in which she made a cameo appearance.
She also co-directed the Foo Fighter’s 2002 Walking a Line music video.
During an interview with GQ in January 2008, Grohl shared that the song “Statues” from his band’s sixth studio album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, was motivated by him and his spouse.

The song “Ballad of the Beacons” was also written with Jordyn in mind, as Grohl expressed: “I was smitten by my future wife and wanted to pen a romantic, sweet prom ballad. Ewww! We wouldn’t dare perform that kind of song live.
Last August, during my guesting on Jimmy Kimmel Live, I shared that Blum had to be urgently taken to the hospital due to appendicitis.
He stated: ‘Indeed, I received a message from her. It left me feeling somewhat unwell. After the performance concluded, she mentioned that she was heading to the hospital for an appendix operation.’
‘I ran down there, and got there in time. She’s great.’
In 1997, Dave Grohl ended his three-year marriage with Jennifer Leigh Youngblood due to an admission of infidelity on his part.
