Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are stunned to discover which character is predicted to die quickly in the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios is known for surprising—and sometimes upsetting—fans by killing off characters in its Avengers films. According to sources on X (formerly Twitter), Danny Ramirez’s character Joaquin Torres/Falcon won’t last very long in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. Fans are interpreting this to mean he’ll die relatively early in the film.
The online Marvel fan community was surprised by rumors of Falcon’s death in the Doomsday event, especially since he’s a relatively new character. He’s only been featured in two Marvel projects so far: the 2021 series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and the upcoming 2025 film Captain America: Brave New World.
Joaquin Torres/Falcon is the latest Marvel character rumored to die in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film, joining Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. Reports suggest Loki will be killed by Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, who needs to eliminate Loki – now in charge of the Marvel Multiverse – to build Battleworld in Avengers: Secret Wars.
