McDonald’s announces Pokémon TCG Pocket collaboration
Pokémon has teamed up with McDonald’s for a special partnership, offering fans collectible Dragon-type Pokémon cards and TCG (Trading Card Game) pocket rewards.
Fans of Pokémon, let’s join forces! The beloved brand is partnering with McDonald’s for a second time, this collaboration being aimed at boosting the popularity of the recently released mobile card game, known as Pokémon TCG Pocket.
For individuals aiming to amass the entire collection, ordering at McDonald’s offers the chance to acquire unique cards and additional perks. Here’s a breakdown of what you should know.
Pokémon TCG Pocket teams up with Mcdonald’s for exclusive Happy Meals
Previously, Pokémon teamed up with a well-known fast-food restaurant, often offering unique trading cards as part of their Happy Meals. It appears that these special cards are set to return with the purchase of a Happy Meal once more.
Additionally, it’s not only the card that can be earned by customers, but also Pokémon TCG Pocket rewards, which are given to those who purchase a Pokémon Happy Meal via the McDonald’s app as part of the Pokémon x McDonald’s collaboration.
All Pokémon TCG McDonald’s Happy Meal rewards:
- 24 Pack Hourglasses
- 12 Wonder Hourglasses
Besides these, players may also obtain other types of rewards since the Happy Meal comes with real physical cards too.
McDonald’s to release Dragon-type Pokémon cards in Happy Meals
In earlier times, McDonald’s often launched unique starter cards specifically for their promotions. However, it appears that for this round, they are focusing more on powerful Dragon-themed cards instead.
As a devoted Pokémon fan, I couldn’t be more thrilled! It appears that my beloved Dragon-type Pokémon are going to receive unique McDonald’s Pokémon cards. However, it seems there will be a handful of exceptions for non-Dragon Pokémon as well.
All 2025 McDonald’s exclusive Pokémon cards:
- Charizard
- Pikachu
- Miraidon
- Jigglypuff
- Hatenna
- Dragapult
- Quagsire
- Koraidon
- Umbreon
- Hydreigon
- Roaring Moon
- Dragonite
- Eevee
- Rayquaza
- Drampa
You’ll find 15 cards in total that players aim to gather, but only 7 of those Pokemon cards are Holo. If you still want to complete your collection as an adult, you’re in luck! Simply place an order for a Happy Meal, which typically costs around $6. This popular meal deal is available for everyone.
It seems pretty worth it, in my opinion, for some rare Pokémon cards. Go catch ’em all!
