Independent watch brand MB&F unveils its latest creation in collaboration with British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori as part of their annual M.A.D. Edition releases. This time, they have crafted a series of three M.A.D. 1S watches, all inspired by the concept of “Nurturing Your Dreams.

Drawing inspiration from the sleek profile of the M.A.D. 1S presented at Geneva Watch Days in 2024, this collaboration breathes life into the timepieces with Ilori’s distinctive flair for color and narrative. Each collection, representing Sun, Nature, and Water, consists of 400 uniquely crafted pieces that commemorate the artist’s core philosophy of fostering dreams, symbolized through themes of growth and positivity embodied in their designs.

Within each “Grow Your Dreams” timepiece, a Swiss-made LaJoux-Perret G101 single-cylinder movement pulses. This is embellished by a sleek, detailed titanium rotor etched with a tree design and boasting an anodized finish in three vibrant shades: yellow for Sun, green for Nature, and blue for Water. Super-LumiNova accentuates both the contours of the rotor and the “Grow Your Dreams” engraving by Ilori. As a novelty for M.A.D.Editions, the bezel’s meticulously machined groove is filled with HyCeram liquid ceramic, polished to a radiant rainbow sheen, and the baseplate showcases a tactile, wavy texture for a subtle 3D effect.
