Maya Jama’s staggering seven figure net worth ‘revealed’ as she rakes in the fortune thanks to ‘booming beauty mask firm’

It’s been said that Maya Jama’s net worth has significantly increased, now exceeding £2 million, primarily due to the thriving earnings from her successful beauty mask line, MIJ Mask.

30-year-old Love Island host may have experienced a notable increase in career opportunities following a nearly 25% surge in profits for the cosmetic brand from last year.

Based on documents from Companies House, MIJ Masks reports an increase in net assets to approximately £313,381 for the year 2024, marking a rise of £75,000 compared to the previous year, as reported by The Sun.

As sales increase, her substantial earnings from her television roles and advertising jobs via MIJ & Co Entertainment accumulate to a staggering £1.83 million in her wealth.

In 2021, Maya introduced her line of bio-cellulose face masks and eye patches, offering premium skincare solutions infused with luxurious ingredients and promoting self-care with a bold approach, resulting in a luminous, self-assured radiance.

The brand’s masks range from £9.99 to £17.99, while the eye patches cost £7.99.

TopMob has contacted Maya’s representatives for comment.

Maya achieved a significant milestone in her career by being appointed the permanent host of Love Island, following Laura Whitmore’s departure from the position.

Ever since that time, she has been the host for Love Island Games, Love Island All Stars, as well as series 11, which aired in June and July.

It is believed that Maya makes approximately £750,000 per season of Love Island, and she allegedly received over £50,000 as a host for this year’s BRIT Awards.

After taking over from Kate Moss as the face of Rimmel London last year, a significant portion of Maya’s income comes from her brand partnerships.

As I’ve learned from The Sun, it seems I’ve been associated with a substantial income from endorsing the hair extension brand Beauty Works, adding to my portfolio that also includes collaborations with Maybelline, Adidas, Gordon’s Gin, Self Portrait, among others.

Last November, it was revealed that Maya had taken on a new business endeavor. She is now both an investor and co-proprietor of the Swedish plant-based milk company, Sproud.

Maya will serve as both the public figurehead for Sproud and provide strategic guidance, as this innovative company specializes in producing milk using yellow split peas.

The brand claims that their drink has a significantly smaller footprint on the environment when compared to other plant-based milks during production, and has been acknowledged by CarbonCloud as the plant-based milk option with the least environmental impact regarding climate change.

Speaking of her new role, Maya said: ‘I’m really excited to become a co-owner of Sproud.

‘I find plenty of reasons to appreciate it – the products have an incredible taste, and their packaging is visually appealing as well. However, what truly wins me over is the company’s commitment to health and sustainability.’

One appealing aspect for me was the link to Sweden, considering my mother is part Swedish. I cherish fond memories of carefree summer vacations spent in Sweden with my grandparents.
