Maya Jama’s Hilarious Rant: No TV in Bedroom, Falling Asleep on Sofa Amid Romance Rumors!
Maya Jama has disclosed that she has self-imposed a rule to not have a television in her bedroom, leading to her frequently nodding off on the couch instead.
30-year-old Love Island presenter expressed a blunt, colorful outburst on her Instagram Stories following another night spent in her living room, fueling speculation about her alleged relationship with soccer player Ruben Dias from Manchester City.
She mentioned that she frequently dozes off on the couch, explaining that she’s placed her hat with small adhesive dots as markers, and has a simple bedtime ritual.
Fancy taking a peek at my favorite show? I don’t have a TV in my room as I knew it could delay my sleep. And here we are.”
This sentence keeps the informal tone of the original, but also makes it more natural and easier to read for an audience.
She continued by saying: “I’m dozing off on the couch each and every night, only to wake up with a kinked neck. I didn’t manage to complete my program.
I just can’t contain my excitement! I’ve got something amazing to share, but first, let me clarify that despite appearances, I’m as chaotic as ever. Here’s a sneak peek for those who might think I’ve got it all figured out.

Later on, she posted another video while seated in a makeup chair, looking fabulous, and remarked: “Back to business now ladies! If you haven’t noticed yet, she’s already at work.
The revelation about Maya’s new relationship with a handsome Portuguese footballer has surfaced only a few days ago, following Gary Lineker’s public confirmation.
It’s been whispered that the striking brunette and the footballer from Manchester City have been quietly seeing each other since they crossed paths at the European Music Awards last November.
Speculation about the duo grew stronger following Ruben’s Instagram post showing a scenic sunset view during his New Year festivities in Ibiza, where he had blurred the faces, leading many fans to believe it was Maya.
In February, the pair were spotted wearing matching £5,050 ‘LOVE Bracelets’ by Cartier.
Last week, there was more suspicion that Maya’s romance with the Portuguese footballer may be deepening, as she suggested she was learning Portuguese.
Although they hadn’t announced their relationship publicly, soccer star Gary took the initiative this week by alluding to their romance.
After it was revealed that Maya will be working as a co-manager in the Baller League together with Alisha Lehmann from Juventus, she took to their social media platforms to express her feelings about the announcement.

In a playful manner, she teased Micah Richards by referring to him as her “arch-rival” and poked fun at his age, all while heightening the appearance of their friendly competition during their game.
Micah confronted her: “It seems like you didn’t show me the respect I deserve, didn’t you? You commented that I appear to be 40, but I’m just 36. That wasn’t fair of you. What about your age?
Maya chuckled while responding: “I’m thirty, precisely. Right smack in the middle of a brand-spanking-new, refreshing thirty.
Yet, unexpectedly, Gary entered the scene, cutting into their jovial conversation, which seemed to accidentally reveal Maya’s romantic involvement with Ruben.
He said: ‘Micah, stop flirting and get her boyfriend to play for us!’ sparking a burst of laughter.
Initially, Maya appeared surprised by the open mention of her romantic situation, and in response, she exclaimed, “Leave me alone! That’s exactly why I avoid conversations with elders; they can be quite peculiar.
On Thursday sh looked unrecognisable as she shared an adorable childhood snap of herself.
In the picture, Maya wore a pink, sleeveless floral blouse, along with a pair of dark denim pants. Her hairstyle was twin tails or pigtails.
She was born and raised in Bristol where she lived with her mother Sadie and her brother Omar.
Growing up, her dad, Hussein, frequently cycled through periods of imprisonment, and their last conversation took place during a documentary production about absent fathers in 2017.
Growing up, Maya had a dream of becoming an actress, but as she admired figures like Davina McCall and June Sarpong, she eventually discovered that presenting might be a more suitable path for her.
On Thursdays, Maya delighted her followers by posting numerous stunning images and clips featuring Michele Morrone straight from the set of their new Dolce & Gabbana commercial.
