Maya Jama turns heads in a racy sheer lace gown as she attends lavish fashion gala dinner at Soho Farmhouse

Maya Jama made a striking impression at a glamorous fashion event at Soho Farmhouse, wearing a daring and see-through lace dress.

The 31-year-old TV personality attended The Business of Fashion’s VOICES 2025 Gala Dinner and Party in Chipping Norton on Friday, alongside a number of other celebrities.

Maya looked stunning in her evening gown, a beautiful dress made of sheer lace with an elegant boat neckline.

The black dress she wore to the event was also adorned with sequins and a fully fringed skirt.

Maya paired the gown with chunky leather boots and styled her hair in voluminous waves. 

She was seen out and about just two days after reports surfaced that Maya has changed her work schedule for the upcoming season of Love Island: All Stars so she can spend more time with her boyfriend, Rúben Dias.

Maya, who has been dating the Manchester City footballer, 28, for a few months, is reportedly planning to travel back to the UK during breaks from filming the upcoming season of All Stars in Cape Town so she can visit him.

Usually, Maya stays in a private villa during filming. For the 2026 season, the show will last six weeks—longer than it typically does.

Unfortunately, Rúben probably won’t be able to travel to see her because Manchester City has a very busy schedule of games.

According to a source, Maya Jama and Ruben Selby are very happy together and plan to see each other while Maya films the next season of All Stars, which is scheduled to return in 2026.

He’s very busy with training and probably won’t have time to visit Cape Town. Maya will return whenever her schedule allows, working around ITV’s commitments.

However, it’s a bit tricky timing-wise because her filming schedule clashes with a really busy period for Manchester City, with a lot of games packed in. This news follows reports that Maya and Rúben were considering entering a £4 million house giveaway in Cheshire just a few weeks ago.

Maya Jama, the host of Love Island, and her boyfriend, a professional footballer, were seen looking at a very modern house in Alderley Edge. The house was originally won by a woman named Emily Ward in a raffle with a £25 ticket.

This beautiful 6,300 square foot home has four bedrooms and offers amazing views. It features professionally designed gardens and a luxurious indoor recreation area.

According to a source, Ruben and Maya have visited the property three times now. They were there for around two hours on Wednesday.

‘It’s quite a long time to spend on a viewing, but the house is very captivating.

‘Ruben arrived in his Lamborghini and Maya came separately in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes.’

The insider added that the couple looked ‘deep in thought’ as they left together.

The mansion can be rented for approximately £20,000 per month and is also for sale.

I’m hearing wonderful things about this couple – they’re truly happy and are now starting the exciting process of looking for a place to settle down and make it their own. It’s lovely to see them building a life together!
