Maya Jama shared a rare loved-up snap with her boyfriend Rúben Dias on Instagram on Monday. 

The host of Love Island, age 31, and the Manchester City footballer, 28, have been dating for a few months and recently shared a cute black-and-white mirror selfie, looking happier than ever as they snuggled close.

Maya looked fashionable in a black leather jacket paired with a cropped white T-shirt, and Rúben affectionately rested his head on her shoulder.

People think the couple first connected when the TV host attracted the Portuguese athlete’s attention at the European Music Awards (EMAs) last November.

Their relationship became official after they were photographed showing affection for each other at KSI’s Baller League event in April.

Rúben recently opened up about his relationship with Maya for the first time. 

When The Telegraph asked Ruben if he was worried about media attention on their relationship, he responded: ‘No, I think that’s the furthest thing from your mind.’

‘We are just both aware of it, and there’s no way around it. 

Ultimately, it’s best not to focus on it directly. Instead, concentrate on all the other aspects, and then view this as something additional to manage, being sure to handle it intelligently.

While taking some time off, Maya and Dias appeared very affectionate as they shared a boat trip on the Italian island of Capri during a sunny vacation.

The couple shared a kiss while enjoying their morning coffee on the yacht, and then Maya affectionately nestled into the City player’s neck.

Maya is reportedly considering moving to Manchester to be closer to Rúben.

The presenter often goes to matches at the Etihad Stadium to cheer on the footballer.

According to a source who spoke with The Sun: Maya really appreciates how grounded Manchester is, but she also enjoys the city’s exciting football culture and the glamorous lifestyle of the players’ partners – the WAGs.

While Bristol and London hold a special place in her heart, she’s really enjoying spending more time in Manchester with Ruben.

The city is now a popular spot for celebrities – and it will host The Brit Awards for the very first time in February.

Maya often shares glimpses of her life in the city on TikTok, regularly posting updates for her 1.1 million followers. She’s clearly expressed how much she enjoys living up north.

In recent months, she’s posted videos showing herself at Rúben’s lavish apartment, where she’s been enjoying meals prepared by his personal chef, Diogo Prego, who is from Portugal.

The couple have also been seen stepping out together and going on dates in the city.

They were spotted shopping together at an Apple store in Manchester’s Arndale Centre last month.
