Maya Jama makes major career pivot as she follows in the footsteps of Ed Sheeran and Daniel Radcliffe to grow her bank balance

Maya Jama is expanding her career path, similar to Ed Sheeran and Daniel Radcliffe, to increase her income.

The 31-year-old presenter landed her most significant role yet when she was named the new host of Love Island in October 2022.

She’s enjoying increasing success with her thriving beauty business and is reportedly going to appear in a new Netflix series. On top of that, she’s also started another venture.

Maya is reportedly set to invest in properties to rent out as she works to secure her future.

Singer Ed Sheeran reportedly owns around £70 million worth of property, including an £8.25 million office building in central London’s Soho district.

According to a source, Maya is a smart and successful businesswoman who is careful with her money and won’t spend it carelessly, despite her thriving career.

She’s following in the footsteps of celebrities like Ed Sheeran and Daniel Radcliffe by investing in rental properties.

I think it’s a really smart move for her to invest her money like this. Not only will she likely earn a good return, but I can see her savings steadily increasing over the long term, which is fantastic!

The source went on to reveal that her new company was named Penny Property Holdings.

Daily Mail has contacted Maya’s representative for comment.

Maya has no shortage of offers for other projects to keep herself busy.

Although she is known as a TV presenter, Maya’s first career goal was to become an actress.

Oh my gosh, even before she was famous, she was trying to break into acting! I found out she actually auditioned for Skins – can you believe it?! She made it all the way to the final round! Seriously, she was this close to being on one of the biggest teen shows ever. It just proves she always had ‘it,’ you know?

She initially turned to presenting after not landing the role she wanted, but she seems interested in acting again now.

The actor is said to be joining the second season of Guy Ritchie’s crime series, The Gentlemen, in a prominent new part.

Sources say she’ll be playing the wife of a mysterious man connected to Eddie Horniman, the character played by Theo James, and that she’s expected to bring a lot of glamour to the role.

Filming is currently happening at the beautiful Badminton House in Gloucestershire, which is standing in for the fictional Halstead Manor in the show.

Earlier this year, Maya got fans excited by sharing a Netflix script online. She then posted a mysterious photo with Kaya Scodelario, known for her role as the tough mob boss Susie Glass in The Gentlemen.

Earlier this year, the host of BBC Three’s Glow Up shared that she was secretly auditioning for a part she’d always wanted, and suggested it was a role far removed from the cheerful image she usually presents on television.

She explained that her ideal role would be a villain or a character very different from her own personality. This would allow her to demonstrate her acting range and prove she’s capable of transforming into someone else entirely, leaving audiences surprised by the contrast.
