Maya Jama Fans Rush to Wembley as She Cheers On Rumoured Flame Ruben Dias in FA Cup Win!

On Sunday, it was reported that Maya Jama cheered on her alleged boyfriend, Ruben Dias, as his team Manchester City defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the FA Cup at Wembley.

In a clandestine relationship for quite some time now, the Love Island host, aged 30, and the footballer, age 27, have been secretly seeing each other. Their romance blossomed after Maya took notice of the Portuguese when they crossed paths at the European Music Awards (EMAs) in November 2024.

Over the past few months, she’s attended several football matches specifically to catch Dias playing for Manchester City.

And Sunday was no exception as she took her whole family to Wembley to support him.

She posted a video, titled “Family Day Out at Wembley,” as she drove to the stadium, and her mother Sadie, as well as her brother Omar, accompanied her in the car.

Maya then shared a snap of the pitch as she watched on – while her family enjoyed the atmosphere. 

It has been recently revealed by The Sun that the couple might be deepening their relationship further, as the defender is said to have presented his newest companion to his mother, Bernadette.

In March’s international break, Maya traveled to Lisbon to catch Dias playing for Portugal’s national squad.

She was spotted at the José Alvalade Stadium, cheering on Portugal as they secured a 5-2 win against Denmark during the second leg of their Nations League quarter-final match.

In a private suite typically used by players’ associates, the speaker was spotted enjoying some company and glasses of wine, accompanied by a friend.

At three thirty in the morning, Maya shared a photo on social media showing them enjoying each other’s company by the fireplace during their romantic getaway.

The photograph appears to have been captured at the footballer’s residence located in the Cascais area of Portugal, showcasing a large swimming pool and a fire pit in the background.

It’s said that they began dating in December, as they had first crossed paths at the EMAs in November, which were held in Manchester, a city where Dias is known to perform.

In the days after Valentine’s Day, whispers about the couple’s relationship grew stronger, as Jama posted a picture of the bouquet of roses she had received upon returning to the UK from Cape Town, following the end of the 2025 Love Island All Star season.

Later on, they were noticed donning identical Cartier ‘LOVE’ bracelets, priced at £5,050 each on their official website.

Prior to Dias’ arrival at training for City’s Champions League play-off second leg against Real Madrid in February, it was noticed that Jama had already showcased a costly present on Instagram, both wearing the same item.

They’ve been silent about the dating speculations; however, Gary Lineker appeared to verify their relationship back in March when he publicly referred to the defender as “Jama’s boyfriend” during a direct conversation with her.

Following the occurrence, Maya didn’t dispute Lineker’s statement; instead, she referred to the Match of the Day host as ‘unusual.’

It’s obvious that Maya felt distressed following the ex-England player’s actions, which added fuel to ongoing rumors.

She said: ‘Get out! This is why I don’t talk to old people. They’re so weird.’
