Maya Jama and her boyfriend, Ruben Dias, received a £60 parking ticket on Tuesday while driving to the gym in Dias’s £200,000 Lamborghini.
The couple met for lunch after the Love Island host got coffee in Cheshire. As they drove away, they hadn’t removed a ticket from the windscreen.
Maya highlighted her figure in a fitted grey workout outfit as she ran errands, later meeting Ruben for lunch.
When they got back to the car, they saw the ticket, but it didn’t bother them as they drove away.
Maya and Ruben are enjoying a break in Portugal while the footballer Ruben takes time off with his national team.
The pair appeared to have enjoyed exploring the local sights, including an array of monuments.
Maya and Ruben spent some downtime together, as they soaked up the sun relaxing by a large pool.
Ruben captioned his post ‘Home recharge,’ and Maya replied, ‘And now I never want to leave Portugal!’
This sighting marks the first time the couple has been seen together publicly since the frightening break-in at their multi-million pound Cheshire home.
Maya and her Manchester City footballer partner were deeply upset when their home was broken into and robbed in January.
The event occurred during a match where Ruben was playing against Galatasaray in Turkey, while Maya was away filming Love Island: All Stars in South Africa.
Reports say thieves stole thousands of pounds worth of goods, including designer clothing, jewelry, and electronics.
The couple had just moved into the house they won through the Omaze prize draw, and it reportedly costs £20,000 a month to rent.
Even though they already had advanced security systems, the couple has hired a Strongbox security team to live on their property around the clock, increasing their overall protection.
According to a source speaking to The Sun, the couple hired a security company to evaluate their property. The company recommended 24/7 live-in guards, believing they would effectively discourage potential problems.
Honestly, it’s getting ridiculous! It used to be just a few top players getting personal trainers and fancy chefs, but now everyone seems to need a full staff! And now? Security guards? Seriously? It’s like they’re building fortresses around themselves! I keep up with everything, and it feels like more and more players are adding security to their entourage. It’s wild!
The Daily Mail has contacted Maya and Ruben’s representatives for a comment at the time.
Ruben came home from a game and found his house had been burglarized, apparently alerting authorities after discovering it had been ransacked and valuables stolen.
According to a source, the couple was heartbroken by the incident. The house was their first home together and held a lot of meaning for them. Fortunately, they weren’t there when it happened, but they’re deeply disturbed that someone violated their privacy.
Maya was thrilled to move into her first home with Ruben and shared videos and photos of it on social media, according to The Sun.
They used to have a long-distance relationship, with her traveling between London and his city apartment. That’s why buying this house is such a big deal for them.
Cheshire Police responded to a report of a burglary on Woodbrook Road in Alderley Edge around 11:10 PM on Wednesday, January 28th, according to a statement to the Daily Mail.
Police responded to the property and discovered it had been broken into, with several items missing.
Police are currently investigating and ask anyone with information to get in touch. You can reach Cheshire Police on 101 or through their website.
Back in November, the couple was seen looking at a very modern house in Alderley Edge that was offered as a prize in an Omaze draw.
It was won by mother Emily Ward with a £25 ticket and she is still listed as the property owner.
This beautiful four-bedroom home offers 6,300 square feet of living space, complete with breathtaking views, well-maintained gardens, a luxurious indoor recreation area, and a state-of-the-art security system.
The mansion could be rented for about £20,000 per month, and it’s also currently for sale.
