Maura Higgins wears sizzling hot red latex dress ahead of her debut as host of Love Island spin-off – as ex Pete Wicks grabs headlines for kissing Jowita Przystal onstage at the O2

Okay, let’s talk style and headlines! Everyone’s been buzzing about Maura Higgins looking absolutely incredible in a red latex dress on Instagram – seriously, she rocked it! But honestly, it’s her ex, Pete Wicks, who’s been getting most of the attention lately. It’s always interesting to see how things play out, isn’t it?

Maura, age 34 and host of Love Island Games, is currently filming in Fiji for the show’s second week. The series, a spin-off of the popular Love Island, premiered last week on ITV2.

Maura made a stunning entrance, turning heads with her bold choice of a red latex maxi dress for the event. Her followers were amazed!

While she’s enjoying a vacation abroad, Pete was seen kissing professional dancer Jowita Przystal on stage at the O2 Arena. This happened around the same time he was dating Maura.

Adding to the surprise, he was seen kissing an unidentified blonde woman just a few days before he publicly appeared to be dating Jowita.

Despite the drama, Maura seems to be taking everything in stride. She ended her relationship with Pete in February after discovering messages from other women on his phone.

She just dropped some seriously stunning new photos, and honestly, I’m obsessed! Along with them, she posted, ‘Tight fit but I’m flexible,’ which is just *her* – playful and confident. I love how she owns it!

Maura was met with comments from the likes of best pal Molly-Mae, who shared: ‘WOWWWWW.’

Former Love Island pal Leah Taylor added: ‘Are you even real omggggg.’

And a fan commented: ‘I can’t even imagine being this hot like what!’

Maura’s trip to Fiji got off to a rough start last week when she discovered her luggage hadn’t made it on the plane. She found out thanks to her Apple AirTag, which she uses to keep track of her belongings.

After arriving at LAX, Maura-formerly the show’s social media representative-discovered her bag hadn’t made it to the baggage carousel, meaning it had likely been stolen.

Maura, who became well-known on a UK reality show in 2019, first shared a peek at her travels online. She posted a photo from the plane showing off her designer accessories – a Hermès Birkin bag, a Louis Vuitton vanity case and diary, and Chanel sunglasses – along with a glass of wine.

However, the situation worsened when she started sharing her panic online and revealed she was experiencing anxiety because of the mistake, especially since she was scheduled to begin work immediately upon arriving in the South Pacific.

I remember seeing her post before everything started to unravel. She shared a picture of all her fancy things, then a selfie with a face mask on. The caption was so her – something like, ‘Here I am for the next 25 hours!’ She was totally indulging, with a hair mask, a special collagen one, and covered in oil. It felt like she was really trying to pamper herself before… well, before everything happened.

Following her selfies, Maura then shared an image of her lost luggage alert.

Along with a screenshot of the AirTag notification, Maura wrote, ‘Great. Now I’m going to be a nervous wreck on this flight until we get to LAX.’

After arriving at LAX, she discovered her luggage had made it to the US, but unfortunately, someone stole it from the baggage carousel.

Addressing her viewers, she explained that people were messaging her, suggesting the AirTag might be behaving normally and was likely still on the plane. However, she insisted that wasn’t the case.

They’re saying my luggage was taken from the conveyor belt, so it appears to have been stolen. I’m really upset about this because I have work as soon as I arrive.

She wrote in the video’s caption: ‘It just adds to my stress when they tell me someone else has taken it! It feels like everyone else is moving on, and I’m stuck here just wanting my hair extensions and tan.’

News came out last month that Maura got the role in the Peacock show, which has been on for four seasons.

A source close to the show revealed to The Sun that the first season of Love Island Games didn’t have a follow-up show like Aftersun because it was filmed ahead of time and broadcast later. However, the second season will be different – it will air immediately after each episode, just like the main Love Island series.

Okay, so get this – because everyone LOVES Aftersun, the producers are making MORE! They’re doing a whole series to go alongside the main show, and guess who’s hosting?! Maura Higgins! She already does Aftersun for Love Island USA, and honestly, she’s AMAZING at it. I’m seriously counting down the days!

Maura was really excited to get the opportunity, because ‘Games’ is a completely different program, and she wasn’t sure she’d be chosen for it.

She was thrilled when her bosses reached out, as it showed they valued her contributions and considered her an important part of the Love Island team.

She’s having a lot of success with her career in the United States, especially after appearing on ‘Traitors US.’ Maura is eager to work more in the US, and this new opportunity feels like a great way to make that happen.
