Maura Higgins kept the party going in Dubai on Friday, continuing her 35th birthday festivities with no end in sight.
The former Love Island contestant has flown to the United Arab Emirates with friends to celebrate her birthday with a series of parties and dinners.
Maura, who turned another year older on November 25th, swapped her fancy clothes for a bikini and finished her week by captaining a rented yacht in Dubai Marina.
The TV star shared a photo on Instagram of herself looking fit in a white bikini while driving a boat for a new post.
As the sun set over Dubai, Maura took a scenic jet ski ride around the harbor, joined by her friend and influencer, Sophia Laura.
Okay, so things have been a little hectic for me lately! I recently shared on Instagram that I do use Botox, and honestly, it felt good to be open about it. I’d said before that I didn’t, but I’ve realized it’s okay to change your mind and be honest about the choices you make. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but I’m taking a little time to celebrate my birthday and recharge.
She shared with her followers that when she first developed perioral dermatitis, she stopped getting facials completely. Now, she focuses on skincare and also uses Botox, administered by Dr. Rosh, who she considers the best.
The Love Island contestant had previously discussed her cosmetic procedures shortly after being on the ITV2 reality show in 2021.
She explained that she had lip fillers done three months after leaving Love Island. Since lip fillers typically last five or six months, she decided to let her previous fillers naturally dissolve and hasn’t had any more since.
Despite this, people often think I’ve had cosmetic procedures like lip fillers or Botox. Some even assume I’ve had a nose job, but I haven’t had any work done at all.
As someone who’s always been interested in subtle beauty tweaks, I’ve noticed something interesting over the years. I wore braces for quite a while, and it turns out that as my teeth shifted, they actually gave my lips a little more volume – a really natural-looking pout, actually!
I don’t think lip fillers are right for me right now. With my straight teeth, it just wouldn’t look very good.
Maura Higgins will be appearing on another TV show in January, joining the second season of The Celebrity Traitors USA.
Although the show features mostly American actors, it’s filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands – the very same location used for the original British series by the BBC.
Claudia Winkleman isn’t involved with the American version of the show; instead, Scottish actor Alan Cumming is hosting it.
Higgins will be part of the new season alongside several other familiar people, including Donna Kelce, the mother of Jason and Travis Kelce, who is 74 years old.
The TV personality said the next season of the show will be ‘total chaos’ and previewed her upcoming appearance, which will also be available on BBC iPlayer.
She described the new season to The Playlist as chaotic and intensely brutal, emphasizing a return to a state of disorder.
Around the middle of the show, there’s a scene that’s easily the most incredible moment in Traitors history. I’m so excited for everyone to see it – it’s complete chaos, but in the best way, and absolutely brilliant!
