As an ardent fan of reality TV, I can’t help but feel like I’ve seen it all – until now! The drama and excitement that unfold on our screens never cease to amaze me. From Love Island to I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, these shows have become an integral part of my life.

Maura Higgins, a contestant on I’m A Celebrity, recently reminisced about a chilling jungle experience during her reunion with fellow campers at GK Barry’s Wembley performance on Sunday.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t miss out on being there when my beloved Irish idol graced the stage for the Saving Grace XXX-Mas Special! Not only was she lending her support to her friend, but I was fortunate enough to be in the same room as the legendary Dean McCullough, 32. What a night to remember!

During the performance, Grace remarked, “I adored my hammock in the jungle, but it seemed like I was the sole individual who appreciated sleeping on one. Once Jane [Moore] departed, it appeared everyone was eager to claim her bed, but I was content right where I was!

Despite joining later, Maura found herself less thrilled with the sleeping accommodations, as they were shared with a few unwelcome visitors along with Reverend Richard Coles, aged 62.

“Eventually, I had a real bed to sleep in, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the spot for food preparation. Consequently, I found myself sharing my sleeping space with plenty of mice!

Grace chuckled, saying, ‘People might find it hard to believe the reality of the dunny when they’re just watching at home, but trust me, it exists for sure.’

As Maura quipped: ‘The spiders made me go much quicker!’.

On Sunday, GK came back on stage for her UK podcast tour. Later, she will visit cities like Sheffield, Glasgow, and Liverpool.

According to recent reports, it appears that Maya Jama plans to depart from Love Island following its return next summer for a new season. In her place, Maura is rumored to take over.

In January 2023, when she stepped into Laura Whitmore’s shoes, the presenter, aged 30, is believed to be earning approximately £750,000 per series for her hosting duties.

Back then, Maya shared that her long-held ambition was to host Love Island, delighting in the fact that her dream had finally come true.

To be completely honest, I can hardly contain my excitement as I eagerly anticipate the summer series finale – but rumors are swirling that our beloved star might be leaving the show afterward! Can this be true? I simply cannot fathom life without her electrifying performances every week.

Initially, Maura gained notoriety by making an exciting debut in the villa as a surprise addition in 2019, with industry insiders suggesting that producers are considering her as a potential replacement for Maya.

As a dedicated follower, I can share that a reliable source has revealed to me that Maya deeply enjoys hosting Love Island and sees it as a perfect fit for now. However, she’s eager to depart with distinction and continue propelling her career along the right pathways. Her ambition is immense, and she prefers to concentrate on prime-time presenting prospects moving forward.

Apart from her aspirations to work in the United States, she prefers to maintain flexibility rather than being bound. Over time, she has been honing her presenting abilities and plays an integral role within the Love Island community.

The source mentioned: ‘Moreover, she brings a distinctive point of view because she’s been both a contestant and a host. With her recent success on I’m A Celebrity, her opportunities seem limitless.’

Maura quickly became a crowd favourite, alongside fellow Islanders Molly-Mae Hague and Amber Gill.

Apart from being a popular TV figure, she’s also gained experience as a presenter. This year, she’s been hosting the American adaptation of Love Island Aftersun and is currently presenting Glow Up as well.

ITV has refuted claims that Maya is planning to resign, affirming instead that they are strongly invested in her as the exceptional host of Love Island, and currently, there are no intentions to replace her.

TopMob has contacted a rep for Maya and Maura for comment.

After Maya’s TV career and business endeavors led to immense success, she eventually amassed a fortune worth millions.

The host of the TV show disclosed financial reports for her entertainment firm, MIJ & Co, revealing a significant growth in company assets. These assets have grown from £1.37 million to an impressive £1.83 million.

Over the past three months, the star seems to have significantly increased her income, with a balance of approximately £1.3 million in her account compared to just under £620,000 the year before.

Despite parting ways with my beloved Stormzy last July, my heart still flutters at the mention of his name, but professionally, it’s full speed ahead! My personal life may have taken a turn, yet it seems nothing can halt the ascent of my career to unprecedented heights.

She landed the full time role as Love Island’s number one presenter when Laura stood down.

After that, she’s been the host for Love Island Games, Love Island All Stars, as well as series 11, which aired in June and July.

It’s believed that Maya makes approximately £750,000 per season of Love Island, and she is said to have received more than £50,000 as a co-host for this year’s BRIT Awards.
