In October 2023, it was first noted that the pair were romantically involved, as they were observed appearing quite affectionate at the Pride of Britain Awards.
According to a source, Maura spent around an hour socializing on the terrace with companions prior to Pete’s arrival.

‘But I’m not going to do that, be flown to Hollywood for a first date. They have to come to me!’
Additionally, Maura openly admitted that she has emotionally detached herself from her former boyfriend Bobby after their intense 10-month relationship, yet declined to disclose further information regarding the situation.
She added: ‘I’m dating… The thing with me is I won’t just date someone.
Instead of making judgments based solely on appearance, I need to engage in a prolonged conversation with someone to sense their personality. This interaction should ideally have a playful and exploratory feel, helping me gauge their character and establish a connection.
