Matt Smith stepped out on the red carpet in London on Thursday night with his sister, Laura, for the premiere of ‘The Death of Bunny Munro.’
The 43-year-old Doctor Who actor spent time with his dancer sister at The Royal Festival Hall.
Matt looked effortlessly cool for the premiere, sporting a leather jacket and sunglasses, and seemed to be in high spirits.
Meanwhile, his sister turned heads in a glamorous pink sequin dress adorned with feathers, and she added to her look with silver high heels.
Matt will play a salesman struggling with sex addiction in his upcoming drama series, The Death of Bunny Munro, which will be shown on Sky.
The team that created the popular Netflix drama Baby Reindeer is back with a new six-episode series starring Matt in the main role.

Matt portrays Bunny, a smooth-talking beauty product salesman who uses his job to pursue sexual encounters after his wife, Libby, tragically takes her own life. He presents himself as a ladies’ man, but is deeply affected by his loss.
He’s unexpectedly become a full-time caregiver for his young son, Bunny Jr., and without much parenting experience, he’s finding it difficult.
The show follows two people dealing with loss in very different ways. Bunny decides to take her son, Junior, on a chaotic sales trip along the Brighton coastline and beyond.
I’ve watched Bunny for a while now, and it’s honestly exhausting – he just flits from woman to woman, constantly trying to impress them. It’s a relentless pursuit, really. Meanwhile, it’s heartbreaking to see Junior; he seems lost in his own world, constantly talking to what I can only assume is his mother’s ghost. It’s a really strange dynamic, watching them both cope in such different, yet equally sad, ways.
‘He grapples with the realisation his dad isn’t just fallible, he’s a f***ing mess.
As Bunny begins to fall apart, he understands he needs to help his son escape the old-fashioned ideas about manhood that are holding him back.
The Death of Bunny Munro is a story that’s both a thrilling warning and a deeply touching look at the bond between a father and his son.
Nick Cave, the musician and writer behind the book this series is adapted from, was involved in making the show. Matt also served as an Executive Producer behind the scenes.

Matt was first seen dressed as his character, Bunny, last year while filming at Saltdean Lido in Brighton.
Matt shared that collaborating with Nick Cave on ‘The Death of Bunny Munro’ was a real privilege. He described the series as a powerful and insightful look at love, loss, and turmoil.
This is a moving story about a father and son navigating grief and the challenges of change. It’s both heartbreaking and heartwarming.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with Clerkenwell Films and Sky to bring this ambitious story to life. Pete’s scripts are fantastic – they’re both hilarious and deeply moving.
‘I can’t wait to collaborate with Isabella and begin the journey with everyone at Clerkenwell.’
Nick added: ‘Finally, someone with the courage to take on this unholy tale.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m absolutely delighted to hear that ‘Bunny’ is finally getting the adaptation it deserves! Sky and Clerkenwell Films are doing a fantastic job, and honestly, I can’t imagine anyone better suited to bring this complex, flawed character to life than Matt Smith. He’s perfect for the role!
Announced in November 2023, the series is directed by Pete Jackson and produced by Clerkenwell Films.
Matt recently attended a special event for Emmy consideration with his co-stars, Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke, at the Saban Media Center in Hollywood.

The cast were asked if they’ve stayed in touch since filming ended in May 2023.
“It feels like ages since we’ve all been together,” host Josh Horowitz remarked. “Really, this is just a fun reason to get the band back together, isn’t it?”
Someone asked how much activity there had been in the WhatsApp group over the past year and a half to two years, and Emma playfully replied, ‘It’s been quiet.’
The Death Of Bunny Munro launches on Sky and streaming service NOW on 20 November.
