Skeletor popcorn bucket and more Masters of the Universe merch revealed

Moviegoers might be scared – in a good way – by new collectibles coming with this summer’s Masters of the Universe film. The Direct recently showed off the full range of popcorn buckets and cups that will be available at theaters during CinemaCon. The main attraction? A skull-shaped popcorn bucket featuring Jared Leto as Skeletor.

This year’s movie merchandise includes a Skeletor popcorn bucket with glowing red eyes and a hood that opens for easy access. There’s also a Castle Grayskull popcorn container with a built-in cup holder and straw. Fans can also find special He-Man and Skeletor themed cups and drink toppers at the concession stand.

He-Man fans can now enjoy their drinks in style with a collectible Power Sword drink holder! The sword opens up to hold a generous 44 ounces of liquid, and even has a hidden straw under the handle for easy sipping during the movie.

One bucket shows He-Man confronting Skeletor on his throne in Snake Mountain, complete with glowing flames. The stairs leading up to the throne are also lit with flames. And cleverly, there’s a hidden compartment for popcorn on the back of this detailed collectible.

Movie fans can now get a Battle Cat popcorn bucket shaped like He-Man’s iconic tiger companion, perfect for holding their snacks! This collectible is part of a larger series featuring popular characters and places from the franchise. Expect to find unique, exclusive buckets at AMC, Cinemark, and Regal theaters.

Travis Knight, who directed Bumblebee, is directing the new live-action Masters of the Universe movie, which cost $200 million to make and comes out on June 5th. The film stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Jared Leto as Skeletor, along with Idris Elba and Camila Mendes. The story follows Prince Adam as he returns to Eternia and uses the Sword of Power to fight against Skeletor’s control.
