Mendes highlighted the film’s emotional impact and believes a lot of its final brilliance will come during editing. She admitted it’s difficult to feel confident about a film before post-production is complete, but she has a good feeling about this project.

Masters of the Universe, directed by Travis Knight and written by Chris Butler, is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2026. This new film comes almost 40 years after the 1987 movie produced by Cannon Films.
