Melissa Leong posted an emotional photo on social media, showing herself tearfully sitting in her car, which has caused some of her followers to express worry.
On Thursday, the previous judge from MasterChef Australia, aged 43, shared a worrying image on social media, showing her appearing quite somber while relaxing in her car.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d like to share a personal update with you all. Embarking on the mentally rigorous journey of narrating the audiobook for my forthcoming memoir, titled “Guts,” has left me feeling a bit under the weather, emotionally speaking. But rest assured, I’m taking it one step at a time and am determined to bring this heartfelt story to life in the best way possible. Thank you for your understanding and continued support during this process.
In my own words today felt particularly challenging. As I embarked on recording the audiobook adaptation of my memoir, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of apprehension. For me, revealing some of the intimate details I’ve penned might just be the most emotionally taxing task I’ve ever undertaken, speaking aloud to strangers included. So here I am, taking on this journey with courage and vulnerability.
Even though it’s not quite the right moment yet, I feel the strong urge to express my love to anyone who has gone through difficult times. Remember, you are never alone in your struggles, and I find comfort in knowing that there are others out there who share similar experiences.
She ended on a more hopeful note and revealed she was excited to be telling her story.

She mentioned that sharing such unfiltered experiences isn’t typically her style, but today she wanted to make a note of it being a day when she took control of her own narrative and identity again.
Many of Melissa’s celebrity friends took to the comments section to offer words of support.
Adriana Glass, a publicist, expressed that sharing such things isn’t typically straightforward, but they appreciated that she did so. She sent a heartful load of love.
‘Deep breath… and say it proudly,’ added makeup artist Shella Martin.
In simple terms, Melissa’s forthcoming memoir can be pre-ordered now, offering readers exclusive insights into her personal life that haven’t been revealed before.
As a passionate advocate for culinary pursuits and a seasoned cooking enthusiast, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll soon be sharing my personal journey on MasterChef Australia. In the coming months, you can expect an enlightening account of my time on the show in a forthcoming book release. Stay tuned for more details!
For three consecutive years, the renowned food critic held a judging position on a cooking contest aired by Channel Ten. However, they decided to depart from the show last year, following a significant change in the hosting lineup.
Since then, she’s become a judge on the spin-off series Dessert Masters. However, there have been persistent whispers suggesting she might rejoin MasterChef in the future.

On Instagram, Melissa posed a question to her followers asking for suggestions on topics they’d be interested in reading about in an upcoming book, which sparked a variety of ideas from them.
A curious admirer inquired whether there would be any behind-the-scenes tales from MasterChef, to which Melissa affirmatively responded that she indeed would share such stories.
‘Oh there are a bunch, don’t you worry,’ she teased in a cryptic reply.
Apart from disclosing other facets of her career, she mentioned she’d delve into her lesser-known enthusiasm for UFC. Each chapter will also offer a culinary treat in the form of a recipe.
Instead, Melissa asked her followers to respect her boundaries regarding certain parts of her life that she has chosen not to discuss publicly, suggesting these topics might not be covered in her upcoming book.
Her thrilling latest venture follows the whispers suggesting Melissa might rejoin MasterChef Australia.
Last year, Melissa parted ways with the program amidst rumors of a dispute with her previous colleague Andy Allen, who currently remains as a judge.
This year, Andy was back on the show with three fresh judges: popular figure Poh Ling Yeow, esteemed Michelin-starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, and acclaimed food critic Sofia Levin from Melbourne.
After her initial stint, Melissa moved forward to assume a fresh position in the spin-off series of MasterChef, titled Dessert Masters. She is now judging alongside the renowned French-Swiss pastry chef, Amaury Guichon.
