As a passionate gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve learned about Masang Soft, a South Korean game company, taking over the IP of the beloved side-scrolling RPG, King’s Raid, originally by Anic Inc., formerly known as Vespa. Excitingly, they are re-releasing this title that was previously discontinued on March 15, 2025!
Masang Soft promises to re-release King’s Raid after a period of preparation
In simple terms, “King’s Raid,” a dynamic strategy role-playing game created by Vespa, debuted in February 2017 and gained significant attention due to its real-time 3D battles, captivating anime-style characters, and visually stunning graphics. Despite its popularity, Anic unfortunately had to shut down the game because it was no longer practical for them to maintain it.

The shutdown signified the conclusion of an era for one of the most cherished Gacha games from this generation. However, in a surprising turn of events, Masang Soft has come to the rescue by acquiring the game’s intellectual property, rekindling hope among fans.
After some time spent preparing, following our acquisition of this intellectual property, we plan to relaunch the popular game King’s Raid. Known for its engaging gameplay and dedicated fanbase, we are committed to bringing back this beloved title.
Masang Soft
It appears that members of the King Raids community are quite enthusiastic about this latest development. Yet, some enthusiasts are hoping that Masang Soft steers clear of utilizing the final version that caused issues within the game, while others are questioning if it’s merely another attempt at generating revenue. Keep an eye out here for further news on the game.
