Mary Berry Joins Celeb Team to Promote Red Nose Day with Iconic Aprons

Mary Berry expressed her joy in backing Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, joining an impressive group of famous individuals.

The well-known baker from the previous season of The Great British Bake Off, number 89, intends to wear fresh Red Nose Day aprons as a means of contributing to their fundraising efforts.

She will soon be joining forces with celebrities such as Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud, comedian Judi Love, broadcast personality Anita Rani, and television presenter Angela Scanlon to endorse the aprons.

At present, you can find the aprons on sale in both Homesense and TK Maxx, with a portion of the earnings being donated to a charitable organization focusing on children.

Regarding the project, Dame Mary expressed her joy by saying, “It was a pleasure when I was invited to collaborate with Homesense and Comic Relief for this year’s Red Nose Day collection of home items. These aprons boast exceptional quality and charming designs.

Additionally, the proceeds generated from selling these aprons are significantly impacting the lives of individuals who require assistance the most, not just within the UK but globally as well.

Hurry to the store, grab an apron for yourself, whip up some tasty goodies, these aprons also make great presents – have a joyful baking experience!

Samir Patel, head of Comic Relief, expressed his enthusiasm about revisiting the past and reviving some of our most memorable designs, which embody two decades of inventive partnerships and creativity.

In keeping with the playful essence of Comic Relief, these t-shirts, sweatshirts, aprons, and homeware items will not just spread cheer and a sense of nostalgia among families nationwide, but also generate crucial funds to transform lives, not only in the UK but globally.

We’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude towards TK Maxx, Homesense, and everyone who consistently participates in Red Nose Day every year. Your involvement never goes unnoticed!

Your consistent kindness and giving nature have significantly contributed to amassing millions, which in turn keeps making a substantial impact on countless lives.

This charitable organization aids organizations, both within the United Kingdom and globally, that strive to assist children and youth. They do this by ensuring meals for these young ones, providing housing, maintaining their safety, and offering aid to families affected by conflicts and climate alterations.

The designs for the aprons draw inspiration from past partnerships with Aardman, Charlie Mackesy, Disney, Mr. Men and Little Miss, Peter Blake, Rachel Joy, and Rankin.

Each apron is priced at £12.99, contributing a minimum of £5 per sale towards Comic Relief. Additionally, we offer a homeware range consisting of items such as tote bags, notebooks, water bottles, pouches, and mugs. Prices for these items range from £4.99 to £9.99, with a minimum donation of £1.50 per sale going to Comic Relief.

In early December, Mary emphasized the significance of reaching out to those who have experienced a loss a few weeks following the funeral service, rather than immediately afterward.

The star expressed that her heartfelt appeal stemmed from the tragic event of losing her son, William, in a car accident back in 1989, when he was only 19 years old.

To TopMob, Mary emphasized the importance of offering ongoing encouragement for loved ones who might be going through particularly tough times and are likely experiencing deep loneliness.

Mary suggested that the ideal time to carry out this task would be during the weeks following the funeral, and recommended either delivering food or planning an activity they might appreciate and enjoy.

She expressed that the time we spent without William made her realize just how crucial it is to converse and share feelings with those who have experienced the loss of a loved one or a dear friend.

Instead of simply walking down the street and crossing over to the opposite side, I would like to approach them, engage in conversation, and reminisce about a specific incident – recalling their expertise and what they achieved there. The aim is to encourage them to share more stories about their past experiences.

On March 21st, which is a Friday, Red Nose Day occurs! You can find associated merchandise not just in stores, but also online at both tkmaxx.com and comicrelief.com/shop.
