Marvel's 2025 peek offers our first looks at Wonder Man, Ironheart and more!

As a die-hard Marvel fan with over two decades of comic book history under my belt, I must say, 2025 is shaping up to be an extraordinary year! The latest Disney+ slate tease has me absolutely thrilled. From the return of Daredevil, the debut of Ironheart, and the intriguing Wonder Man series, it’s clear that Marvel is back on track.

Marvel has unveiled a sneak peek of what to expect in 2025, featuring initial glimpses of highly anticipated series such as “Wonder Man” and “Ironheart”!

Marvel’s faced some challenges over the past year. The movie “The Marvels” didn’t perform well, and issues with Jonathan Majors have led to Kang no longer being the main antagonist in the MCU. However, things seem to be looking up as “Deadpool & Wolverine” was a massive success, and “Agatha All Along” has received rave reviews.

Currently, Marvel has unveiled a sneak peek into their 2025 lineup for Disney+, featuring the premiere of both Deadpool and Wolverine on the streaming platform. Additionally, they’ve given us glimpses of several upcoming shows that are expected to enlarge the Marvel Cinematic Universe even further!

Daredevil: Born Again (March 4)

In the latest series, Charlie Cox once again steps into the shoes of Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil, who is back in business as both a lawyer and vigilante. Matt’s adversaries include the infamous Bullseye, along with other menacing threats. What makes this story even more intriguing is that Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, has taken on the role of New York City mayor, presenting additional challenges for Matt as he fights for justice.

Ironheart (June 24)

As a dedicated gamer, I’m stepping back into the shoes of Riri Williams, the brilliant inventor from “Black Paneverse: Wakanda Reborn”. In this new chapter, we catch glimpses of my armor-crafting escapades, and it’s clear I’ve got the skills to handle any challenge thrown my way. However, there seems to be a looming suggestion that I might have to bend some rules or make tough choices if justice is to be served in this intricate web of events.

Wonder Man (December)

In our initial glimpse of ‘Wonder Man’, we see a movie adaptation of a widely recognized character. The plot appears to revolve around Simon Williams (played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a struggling actor, who inexplicably finds himself mixed up with the eccentric Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley). It remains unclear if Simon will acquire the legendary energy abilities that his comic book counterpart possesses. Additionally, Demetrius Grosse is part of the cast as Eric, Simon’s brother, who in the comics transforms into the menacing villain Grim Reaper.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (January 29)

It’s a unique new take on the Spider-Man mythos. It seems the classic story of Peter Parker gaining his powers while in high school and becoming a hero. The twist? In this reality, rather than Tony Stark, Peter is mentored by Norman Osborn aka the Green Goblin. That alone looks to make this a fantastic new spin on Marvel’s greatest hero.

Eyes of Wakanda (August 6)

Renowned filmmaker Ryan Coogler creates this captivating animated show that explores the historical backdrop of a mythical African realm and its challenges, featuring former Black Panthers among them.

Marvel Zombies (October)

As a devoted fan, I’m diving into an intriguing series that picks up right where a Season 1 “What If” episode left off, delving into a universe where a zombie outbreak transformed most Marvel heroes into the undead. A handful of heroes, like Black Widow, are standing firm against this horde, but the big mystery lies in what occurs when Thanos sets his sights on this zombie-infested Earth…

It seems that Marvel has been gearing up, and it’s looking like they are planning to compensate for some challenging times with an impressive lineup in 2025 for Disney+ viewers!
