Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man Show Is No Longer Exclusive to Disney+

The new Marvel show, Wonder Man, unexpectedly arrived on Disney+ in late January. Unlike many superhero series, it released all eight episodes at once and focused on a relatable, humorous story about an actor trying to make it big in Hollywood. The show has been well-received by critics, currently boasting a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and Marvel is now making it more accessible to a wider audience.

As of March 2026, all eight episodes of Wonder Man are available to stream on Hulu in the United States. If you’re a Hulu subscriber but don’t have Disney+, you can watch the entire season immediately at no additional cost. Marvel Studios announced this on their official social media, making Wonder Man one of the few Marvel Cinematic Universe series to premiere on Hulu.

Hulu has become a place to watch shows from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In 2023, Marvel released the first three episodes of Secret Invasion on Hulu while it was also airing weekly on Disney+. The Halloween special Werewolf by Night was briefly available on Hulu through October before moving back to Disney+ exclusively. Echo was the first Marvel series to premiere on both Disney+ and Hulu at the same time, and now Wonder Man is the latest Marvel show to be featured on both platforms.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays Simon Williams, an actor trying to make it in Hollywood. He discovers that a famous director, Von Kovak, is rebooting the superhero movie Wonder Man, and Simon desperately wants the main role. What the director doesn’t know is that Simon actually has the superpowers the character is known for. The show has quickly become popular because it feels different from other Marvel series.

Ben Kingsley is back as Trevor Slattery, the actor who famously pretended to be a villain in both Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The show explores the contrast between Trevor, who’s fallen on hard times, and Simon, a successful Hollywood player, and their interactions are central to the story. Arian Moayed returns as Agent P. Cleary, a character from Spider-Man: No Way Home who works for the Department of Damage Control.

Other Marvel Shows Available on Platforms Besides Disney+

Disney+ is where the Marvel Cinematic Universe started, but now you can find Marvel shows and movies on several different streaming services. Even if you don’t have Disney+, there’s still a lot of Marvel content to enjoy, and more is being added all the time.

Marvel’s Runaways is a show you can find on platforms other than Hulu. It originally aired for three seasons on Hulu and tells the story of six teens who discover their parents are part of a secret criminal group called the PRIDE. This forces them to run away and face their parents. While it’s no longer on Hulu, you can now watch the entire series for free on CW.

Hulu also offers all three seasons of Legion, a series about David Haller, the son of Charles Xavier, who struggles with his unstable grasp on reality. You can also find The Gifted on Hulu, a show set in the X-Men universe where mutants are being hunted and families must work together in secret. Though it only lasted two seasons, The Gifted, like Legion, is now part of the Marvel content available on Hulu.

Hulu offers a selection of Marvel animated comedies, including Hit-Monkey and MODOK, both created specifically for the streaming service. Hit-Monkey is about a Japanese monkey trained as an assassin by the ghost of a hitman. MODOK focuses on the personal life of the Marvel villain, with Patton Oswalt providing the voice. While these shows aren’t connected to the main Marvel Cinematic Universe, they’re original and engaging, and have gained dedicated fans.

The most significant Marvel streaming event of 2026 outside of Hulu is coming to Amazon Prime Video with the premiere of Spider-Noir on May 27th. This makes it the only major Marvel series that year not available on Disney+.
