Marvel Sends Formal Threat to MCU Leaker of Avengers: Doomsday Secrets

As a movie enthusiast and ardent follower of Marvel Studios‘ groundbreaking work, I find myself in uncharted territory with the ongoing leaks from the production set of Avengers: Doomsday. It’s no secret that the MCU community is as passionate as they come, but one fan managed to breach security and capture spoiler-filled footage.

To prevent further disruptions, Marvel Studios has undoubtedly tightened their security measures. More significantly, they have issued a stern warning to this cunning intruder who dared trespass on the Russo Brothers’ set. If there was ever an adversary worthy of the Avengers themselves, it appears that this stealthy fan might just be that foe for Marvel Studios’ visionary Kevin Feige.

For around a week now, Instagram user @heyneversawitcoming has been sharing various videos from the set of Avengers: Doomsday, offering glimpses into production details such as casting lists, filming locations, and set designs. The most significant disclosure was that the location previously seen in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Madripoor, will be present in the movie. Interestingly, this wasn’t the major leak some anticipated after infiltrating an Avengers sequel set. Nevertheless, they were issued a “formal warning” by someone, which @heyneversawitcoming claims could mean they might face some consequences. Here is the post if you want to check it out.

The upcoming movie titled “Avengers: Doomsday” is being helmed by the Russo Brothers, who are back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following a short break during which they directed and produced various projects like “Cherry” and “The Gray Man”. In this film, the revamped Avengers squad will encounter the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, with the latter originally appearing in films from 20th Century Fox’s previous era.

The main characters in the film “Avengers: Doomsday” include Chris Hemsworth portraying Thor, Vanessa Kirby playing Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Anthony Mackie depicting Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Letitia Wright acting as Shuri/Black Panther, Paul Rudd in the role of Ant-Man, Wyatt Russell appearing as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/Thing, Simu Liu taking on Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer voicing Beast, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, David Harbour playing Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Tom Hiddleston reprising Loki, Patrick Stewart portraying Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Pedro Pascal embodying Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, and Robert Downey Jr. in the titular role of Doctor Doom.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Details Revealed Ahead of New Cast Announcement

Even though this upcoming MCU project is the largest since “Avengers: Endgame”, it’s surprising how many set secrets have been exposed during filming. Fans are eagerly awaiting a new cast announcement, given that key MCU characters like Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) were omitted from the last one. However, those who have been closely following the leaks already know that the Avengers will apparently face off against the X-Men at some point, as recent filming took place at the X-Mansion.

In an earlier mentioned conversation, Alan Cumming unintentionally confirmed that he will once again take on the role of Nightcrawler in “Doomsday”. During a recent chat, Cumming disclosed that his character’s comeback as the teleporting mutant includes battling other Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes, such as Pedro Pascal’s Mister Fantastic, among others.

I’m still getting the hang of these fights and sometimes find myself wondering, ‘Who on earth am I squaring off against?’ [They respond,] ‘Apparently, you’re striking Pedro Pascal on the head.’
