The next Avengers movie, tentatively titled Avengers: Doomsday, will kick off a major conflict with Doctor Doom, and Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As the current storyline of the MCU, known as the Multiverse Saga, nears its conclusion, Marvel Studios has begun promoting Avengers: Doomsday.

The latest trailer for Avengers: Doomsday shows The Thing meeting M’Baku, meaning Marvel’s Fantastic Four from another universe has arrived in the main Marvel Cinematic Universe. The trailer also gives fans a fresh look at Namor, who was first introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The cast of Avengers: Doomsday will include Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Reed Richards, who previously appeared in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Marvel Studios has been sharing sneak peeks of the Phase 6 movie since December 2025.
I was so excited to see the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday! It looks like Chris Evans is coming back as Steve Rogers, which is amazing. The trailer actually showed that Steve and Peggy Carter had a son together, and then confirmed he’ll definitely be in the new movie coming out in 2026. I can’t wait to see what happens!

Before the Avengers team up again, Spider-Man will have his own movie called Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The next big Marvel film, Avengers: Doomsday, will be released in theaters on December 18th.
