Marvel Canceled Another Disney+ Show?
It’s clear that Marvel Studios has been quite prolific in delivering content, whether through cinemas or streaming platforms like Disney+. Subscribers have certainly enjoyed the influx of series released recently, but there are some shows that haven’t been renewed yet, leaving fans wondering if they’ll come back. Sadly, it appears that at least one of these series has now officially ended its run according to the 2025 TV schedule, and I can’t help but feel let down.
In 2021, Marvel Cinematic Universe enthusiasts were acquainted with the docuseries titled “Marvel Studios: Assembled”. This series offers insights into the creation process of various MCU films and shows, specifically those belonging to Phase Four. To date, a total of 23 episodes have been made available, delving into productions such as “WandaVision”, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and both seasons of “Loki”. However, according to TVLine’s Matt Webb Mitovich, there are currently no plans for any new episodes to be produced.
As of now, Disney has not officially announced the cancellation, but it seems plausible given recent circumstances. Since the broadcast of “Assembled,” which revolves around “Agatha All Along,” two Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films have been launched – “Captain America: Brave New World” and “Thunderbolts.” The dates for the episodes’ release have fluctuated, but there’s no sign that new installments are in the works for the latest blockbuster MCU productions.
More on Marvel Shows

It’s being speculated that Marvel is considering a significant shift in its approach to Disney+ series after the character Vision, and I find myself with a blend of excitement and apprehension regarding this potential move.
I’m a fan of documentaries, especially those about the making of movies or shows, like Marvel productions. I was disappointed to see this Marvel offering end, as it was captivating to listen to the cast and crew share their creative processes. The special on WandaVision was particularly engaging, delving into the intricate details of the show’s production, which cleverly paid homage to different eras of television. The episode on Shang-Chi was also interesting, offering unique insights into the choreography of the impressive fight scenes. There are plenty of other episodes that I found charming and informative as well.
It’s disappointing for me that some exciting Marvel films like “Avengers: Doomsday” and “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” won’t be topics on Assembled. I’m particularly eager to learn more about Joe and Anthony Russo’s work on “Avengers: Doomsday”, and I’d appreciate any additional insights they might share. Similarly, I can’t wait for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and would love to hear director Adam Shakman elaborate further on his ideas for the movie, especially as he did with WandaVision.

As a movie enthusiast, I’m excited to share that you can dive into the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+! For an ad-supported experience, it’s just $9.99 per month. Fancy a commercial-free journey? It’s $15.99 a month instead. And here’s a pro tip: Save 16% by pre-paying for the entire year at $159.99. Don’t miss out on this incredible deal!
There’s a good chance that “Assembled” might come back again in the future, given that TV shows often take breaks. For instance, “Marvel Studios: Legends” recently released an episode focusing on Riri Williams, hinting at “Ironheart”. This was their first new episode since December 2023. Although it’s uncertain if the documentary series will return, I’m choosing to remain hopeful.
Why not treat yourself by watching the episodes of “Marvel Studios: Assembled” available right now on Disney+? Fortunately, even if you’re not a subscriber yet, you can still catch some of the episodes on YouTube. Additionally, keep yourself updated about the forthcoming Marvel series by doing some reading.
