Marvel boss Kevin Feige gets a VERY starry turnout for his Walk of Fame ceremony as Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Brie Larson, Chris Evans and Emma Corrin attend glitzy event
As a longtime Marvel fan with countless hours spent at the cinema and in front of my TV screen, I have grown to appreciate the intricacies and depth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The MCU has become an integral part of my life, providing me with endless entertainment and escapism.
At the unveiling of Kevin Feige’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, he was joined by an abundant number of high-profile celebrities.
At Marvel Studios, the president who’s 51 years old was accompanied by notable MCU stars Chris Evans as Captain America, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, David Harbour as Red Guardian, and Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova.
Evans, aged 43, looked relaxed in a baseball hat, shirt, and jeans as he stood next to Kathryn Hahn, 51-year-old Agatha Harkness, for the photo.
At the event, Reynolds (age 47) and Jackman (age 55), who star in Deadpool and Wolverine respectively, donned smart suits that complemented their stylish demeanor. Meanwhile, Larson (age 34) impressed in a waistcoat and trousers, adding an elegant touch to her appearance.
At the age of 28, Corrin exuded elegance in a simple white blouse and wide-leg cream pants. In contrast, the sophisticated Harbour, aged 49, presented a sleek image in a gray suit paired with casual sneakers.
He was joined by wife Lily Allen, 39, for the ceremony.
At the event, Simu Liu (representing Shang-Chi), Chris Pratt (known as Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier), and Ke Huy Quan (portraying Ouroboros) were all present.
Feige, the adored president of Marvel Studios, is widely recognized as the brains behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe and frequently praised for contributing to its unprecedented success over the past 16 years, starting with the release of its inaugural movie.
Feige, known for his key role in Marvel’s successful film franchise, became a highly sought-after figure in the industry in 2022. DC Comics made headlines with their attempts to lure him away from Marvel.
In the second phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the person in charge received proposals from DC to contribute to the launch of their “DC Film Universe.”
DC fans have frequently criticized the competing comic book company for failing to establish a consistent universe that they can engage with.
According to the 2022 report from Puck News, David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros./Discovery, was contemplating another attempt to entice Feige to join DC.
Feige has been the president of Marvel Studios since 2007.
Four movies produced by Marvel Studios rank among the top 10 highest-grossing films ever made: Avengers: Endgame (released in 2019), Avengers: Infinity War (premiered in 2018), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), and The Avengers (debuted in 2012).
Its latest release is Deadpool & Wolverine which will be released on July 26.
