As someone who has spent a significant portion of my life watching and admiring Martha Stewart’s culinary and lifestyle expertise, I find myself deeply saddened by this latest turn of events. It seems that the once idyllic union between Martha and Andy Stewart has turned sour, with accusations of stalking and rehashing old wounds.

It has been alleged that Martha Stewart, the renowned lifestyle expert, is utilizing her latest Netflix documentary as a means to engage in ‘stalking’ activities, according to Andy Stewart (her former spouse) and his wife Shyla Nelson Stewart.

In simpler terms, a source close to Andy, who is 86 years old, mentioned that he feels Martha, also 83, exploited their past pain in the documentary called ‘Martha’. This information was shared with Page Six on Thursday.

Andy believes Martha should leave the past behind, find a new partner, and potentially consider re-marriage, given their contentious divorce in 1990.

A teaser for the Netflix special began airing October 10 ahead of its October 30 release.

2 days following the initial showing, Andy Stewart, along with his present spouse Shyla Nelson Stewart (aged 56), utilized Facebook to publish a unified statement, indicating that they would speak about the matter just once.

The couple expressed that their marriage was filled with genuine love, creating a life that was both beautiful and significant, as well as fruitful and meaningful.

Before reaching this joyful phase, Andy had experienced some difficult periods, among them was a troubled and abusive marriage with Martha (referring to Martha Stewart), which concluded around forty years earlier.

As I’ve been steadily progressing in my personal journey, it seems like Martha persists in revisiting our past marriage publicly, even going so far as to make dramatic remarks in the promotional video for an upcoming Netflix documentary.

The pair noted a remarkable contrast between Andy’s past and the blissful, goal-oriented, loving marriage they currently enjoy.

In 1961, Martha and Andy got married, but they parted ways in 1987 and officially divorced in 1990. Their only child, Alexis Stewart, is currently 59 years old.

In the document, Martha directly addressed rumors concerning Andy’s potential marital indiscretions, stating that he reportedly had multiple girlfriends throughout their marriage.

Martha expressed, “If you’re married, believe yourself to be content, yet your partner is unfaithful, he’s a contemptible individual – view him as such and leave the relationship. However, I found myself unable to depart from it.

Later on, Martha confessed to a short-lived romantic entanglement with an extremely handsome Irish gentleman.

According to Page Six, Martha and Andy haven’t had any contact for two decades.

83-year-old Diane Stewart Love, who is both Andy’s sister and Martha’s former sister-in-law, shared with a publication that she was the one who brought them together. She expressed her belief that Martha still harbors feelings for Andy, even after all these years since their separation.

Diane shared with the media outlet, “Some individuals hold onto things forever, while others choose to move on. Martha is one who has always held a deep affection for my brother; she simply hasn’t been able to let go.
