On Wednesday at the Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York, Martha Stewart established a connection with Rihanna.
At the Cipriani South Street event, the 83-year-old entrepreneur found herself in a warm hug from the 36-year-old singer during the ceremony.
As a devoted follower of style, I truly embodied radiant elegance, adorning a metallic-embroidered coat that caught the eye, paired with classic loafers and a shimmering gold ensemble consisting of a top and trousers, creating an unforgettable impression.
At the awards event, Rihanna made heads turn in a striking, deep-necked white dress, accompanied by A$AP Rocky.
In the evening hours, Martha stepped onto the stage and seemed utterly at home as she spoke to the audience.
The television personality also posed for photos with Kenneth Cole and TV star Brooke Burke.
The annual Footwear News Achievement Awards has been around for nearly 40 years.

After the premiere of the Martha documentary on Netflix, the media personality has faced criticism over her statements made within and regarding the movie.
Martha took part in the project, giving numerous on-screen interviews for it, yet she’s openly criticized the final outcome in public.
She complained that the film was ‘lazy’ and ‘left a lot out,’ to the point she hopes to approach the streaming service about cutting together a ‘Version Two.’
Film director RJ Cutler, known for creating documenatries featuring personalities like Anna Wintour, Billie Eilish, John Belushi, and Elton John, openly discussed creative disagreements regarding his most recent project, during an interview on the podcast hosted by Matthew Belloni.
He shared his thoughts on the movie he’d seen, which aligned with his expectation that Martha might have created a different film if given the chance, as he mentioned this.
Cutler contended that she expressed her feedback, which indicated she was disappointed that I hadn’t implemented the adjustments she desired, yet emphasized this was part of the process.
‘It takes a tremendous amount of courage on her part to trust me. I respect that,’ he said.
‘In return I share the film with her and have conversations with her about the film.’
