Martha Stewart attends Louis Vuitton bash after her prison bestie accused her of 'betrayal'

As an ardent fan and follower of Martha Stewart‘s illustrious career, I find myself both captivated and saddened by this heartbreaking tale of friendship gone sour. Martha, a woman who has built her empire on the principles of hospitality, kindness, and camaraderie, now finds herself in the midst of a situation that seems to contradict these very values.

At a recent event, Martha Stewart was present as Louis Vuitton celebrated the grand opening of their new physical store.

83-year-old fashion trendsetter joined numerous celebrities for the grand opening of the brand’s fresh store on 57th Street, NYC, last Thursday night.

Martha, ever stylish, donned a striking olive green coat embellished with golden buttons, glistening pants, and sleek metallic platform shoes.

She made a nod at the celebrations with her dainty Louis Vuitton handbag.

Martha was spotted arriving to the bash on the arm of a friend and with a huge smile on her face.

Following Lisa Guarino’s revelation about their friendship while they were both imprisoned, Martha’s social outing takes place – a time when it is claimed that she distanced herself from her.

20 years following their time spent side by side in prison, Guarino – previously recognized as Boston’s drug queenpin – has spoken out about Stewart’s rejection of their friendship and a supposed pledge for financial aid, in an exclusive conversation with DailyMail.com.

Guarino, affectionately known as ‘Little Italy’ due to her petite stature, found herself incarcerated for holding over five pounds of cocaine with the intention of distributing it.

In the meantime, Stewart had recently been declared guilty on four charges related to a stock trading controversy. The court found her responsible for conspiracy, obstructing justice, and providing false information to federal investigators twice. Her punishment was set at five months in prison.

As a devoted admirer, I’d put it this way: I can’t help but gush about how Guarino became Stewart’s guardian angel behind bars. She not only guided her through the harsh realities of prison life, but even went as far as secretly procuring kitchen essentials to whip up meals for her, showing an extraordinary level of care and dedication.

She described their friendship at length with DailyMail.com, and revealed how she even helped save Martha after the star accidentally walked in on inmates getting intimate, infuriating one of them.

Ever since her release in 2006, Guarino’s life hasn’t been as smooth-sailing as Stewart’s. She has had to deal with several health issues throughout the years, culminating in a 2015 diagnosis of both lymphoma and leukemia. Unfortunately, she is not currently receiving treatment for those conditions.

As a diligent supporter, I share that she survives primarily on social security with minimal resources. To bridge the financial gap every month, she resorts to various means such as asking for help, borrowing, and at times, finding alternative sources of income.

Currently, it can be noted that Stewart, not long ago, commemorated the unveiling of her latest Netflix documentary titled ‘Martha’. This production includes references to her past imprisonment experience.

While serving time in prison, according to Guarino, Stewart expressed gratitude towards him for his assistance and guidance.

I was so devoted that I made a promise to my family during a prison visit, telling them I’d give them $1 million upon my release. However, according to Guarino, I have yet to fulfill this commitment.

She informed my family that they no longer had to deposit funds for my books, as she would now be responsible for me instead.

But after transferring to another facility, Guarino discovered her account empty.

When I discovered that Martha hadn’t kept her promise and failed to support me as agreed, I felt like I could have been extremely upset with her. She had told my family they no longer needed to contribute to my expenses because she would take care of me financially. However, instead, she gave me a donut, which was essentially nothing of value,” she explains.

In an unexpected turn of events, I found myself without access to my phone for a staggering three months, which meant I couldn’t reach out to my loved ones for financial assistance. This prolonged separation left me in a challenging predicament and added to my struggles, largely due to the fact that Martha failed to honor her promise.

As a dedicated admirer, I’d rephrase it like this: Living just beyond the bustling city limits of Boston, I reside in a compact one-bedroom abode that sets me back $1,900 each month. My health condition has left me unable to work, and my only source of income is a monthly stipend of $600 from social security. The diminutive Guarino, known for her chain-smoking habits, mirrors my situation.

Looking forward to reuniting with an old cellmate who had made a promise years ago, Guarino went to an event on November 11 at the Chevalier Theatre in Medford, Massachusetts. At this gathering, Stewart was showcasing her 100th cookbook.

At DailyMail.com, we caught Stewart waving at enthusiastic fans as Guarino tried to draw her focus, shouting her name and maintaining visual connection with her.

At some point, she exclaimed, “Martha, that’s Lisa!” Nevertheless, Stewart, who was quite close enough to hear, seemed to disregard her shouts and swiftly turned away, eventually vanishing into the theater.

Following her appearance, Stewart left through a side exit, bypassing the waiting crowd.

In an interview with DailyMail.com, Guarino shared: “Martha intentionally avoided me after I had rescued her life in prison. She made a sudden escape from the premises without even glancing back or addressing me, choosing to flee instead.

‘I’m pissed off, I’m offended.’

Reflecting on her experience, Guarino says she feels more pity than resentment for Stewart.

It seemed true to me when Martha claimed our friendship during her time in prison, but it appears that upon returning to her usual surroundings, she reverted to her self-centered habits once more.

‘She has all the money in the world but part of me feels sorry for her.

‘At least I have my family.’
