Summary

  • Marshall opens first Livehouse in Bangkok, blending venue, rehearsal spaces and brand hub
  • Weekly gigs spotlight local talent with global reach
  • Four-level space integrates Marshall gear, from stage to studios, in Charoenkrung’s cultural district

Marshall has debuted its first Marshall Livehouse in Bangkok, which combines live performances, practice studios, and brand interactions across multiple levels. Situated in the vibrant arts district of Charoenkrung, this new venue signifies a substantial investment into Southeast Asia’s music culture.

This four-story establishment houses various spaces: a ground floor stage and cafe managed by City Boy Coffee Stand, a vinyl listening bar and equipment hub on the second level, two practice studios on the third, and an adaptable event space on the top floor. Each area showcases Marshall’s iconic amplifiers, speakers, and audio devices, transforming the entire building into a testament to the brand’s rich history.

The programming will focus on weekly events, providing a stage for emerging Thai musicians as well as attracting international acts. Affordable rehearsal studios ensure accessibility for artists at all levels. As Hataichanok “Pan” Uttaburanont, Head of Music & Culture at Marshall Livehouse, stated, “Bangkok has a rich history as a music hub in Southeast Asia, yet it requires more physical locations where artists can work together and showcase their skills.

Through a collaboration with established partner Ash Asia, the upcoming launch marks Marshall’s aspiration for a wider expansion of culturally-focused initiatives throughout Asia. As of now, The Livehouse is open to the general public, hosting frequent live shows and community gatherings.

Marshall Livehouse is located at 186 Charoen Krung 36 Alley, off Charoen Krung Road in the Bang Rak district of Bangkok, Thailand, specifically within Khet, postal code 10500.
