Awhina acknowledges that spectators may have overlooked some of the peaks in their relationship, yet emphasizes that the difficult times were truly painful for them.

She expressed that while there were definitely challenging times, we also experienced some incredible peaks. However, the valleys were incredibly deep. Sadly, what was presented didn’t include any of the positives, so others may not grasp why I chose to stick around.

I too shared the journey of auditioning for the show with my twin sister Cleo initially. However, she had to withdraw because of her professional obligations.

She shared that we both experienced the entire auditioning journey, which added an element of excitement. To be honest, I felt convinced that my lifelong companion was just moments away, standing at the altar.

Instead, she states that the person she was matched with didn’t share her values or visions for the future.
