Married At First Sight Star Tony Mojanovski Smiles After Heart Attack Recovery

Tonight, in Sydney, Tony Mojanovski from Married At First Sight was seen dining with his fellow cast member, Ryan Donnelly, showing that he’s clearly making progress and recovering well.

53-year-old celebrity from reality TV, who recently disclosed experiencing a heart attack, was seen exiting well-known Italian restaurant La Favola in Newtown, beaming broadly while sharing a chuckle with his coworker from Channel Nine.

Tony kept things casual in a white hoodie and dark jeans paired with crisp white sneakers.

Although he had recently experienced a health issue, the council worker seemed cheerful, exchanging jokes with Ryan and another friend.

In the cool autumn weather, Ryan, aged 37, known for causing a stir on the show, donned a warm coat featuring a tan shearling lining, worn over a simple white t-shirt and black denim pants.

He finished off the look with brown Chelsea boots.

At some point, Tony and Ryan could be spotted chuckling heartily outside the eatery, evidently reveling in their evening together as they engaged in a light-hearted exchange while being filmed by the cameras.

Last month, Tony was taken to Wollongong Hospital following a series of persistent chest pains he’d been feeling earlier that morning.

On the same day, Tony had an urgent operation due to a blocked artery in his heart. The medical team carried out a procedure called coronary artery bypass grafting to clear the blockage and keep him alive.

From his hospital room, Tony shared with Daily Mail Australia that he’s currently in a steady state and is greatly improving following a harrowing experience.

He shared that he’s thankful he went directly to the physician. For quite some time, he had been experiencing discomfort. He wasn’t himself, as if there was something pressing on his chest intermittently, causing him heartburn and similar sensations.

Tony said the persistent symptoms eventually became too much to ignore.

He mentioned that he wasn’t feeling quite right either, so he decided to go easy on himself this week since everything had become overwhelmingly demanding, as he put it.

Considering the recent health alarm, Tony acknowledged that it was quite frightening and disclosed a potential familial connection to heart-related problems.

He shared that his mother had tragically died due to a ruptured blood vessel (aneurysm), and he believed factors such as smoking, high stress levels, and excessive partying might have negatively impacted her overall health in the long run.

He confessed that between smoking, managing stress, being on a boat, partying, and juggling numerous activities, it eventually took its toll on him.

Tony said he now plans to slow down and prioritise his health moving forward.

‘I just need some time without the partying,’ he added.

Even after going through significant surgery, Tony seemed cheerful upon unexpected visit from his MAFS colleague, Ryan Donnelly, at the hospital.

Ryan posted an affectionate picture on Instagram, depicting him and Tony sitting beside one another at a hospital bed, both of them laughing heartily while holding hands.

In a relaxed pose, Tony donned a white T-shirt and grey shorts, grinning widely from his spot in the bed. Meanwhile, Ryan was dressed casually in a black short-sleeve shirt and beige trousers, moving in to give a warm embrace.

During a quick break, I happened to pop in on my dearest friend. Lo and behold, he was engrossed in a call with none other than Adrian [Araouzou].

This season of Married At First Sight found Tony teamed up with DJ and wedding emcee Morena Farina, aged 57. He swiftly gained popularity among viewers due to his relaxed demeanor and endearing vintage allure.
