Married At First Sight Star Loses Nearly a Stone After Online Bullying Over Show Appearance
Hannah Norburn recently shared experiences of being targeted by harsh online bullying following her appearance on the program, which resulted in a notable decrease in her weight.
As a lifestyle consultant looking back on my personal experiences, I found myself making waves during Season Nine of “Married at First Sight” when I became romantically entangled with no less than three grooms. My unconventional journey culminated in a dramatic exit from the series, leaving many viewers intrigued and curious about my choices.
In her latest interview, the fitness coach shares her thoughts on the criticism she faced online and its impact on her.
In an episode of Bobby Norris’ Access All Areas podcast that aired on Wednesday, she expressed: “I can’t find the right words to explain the feelings and the difficulty I faced.
‘I lost nearly a stone weight because I literally just didn’t eat. I was so stressed.
In my opinion, arriving late caused me to disrupt the flow of the show. I essentially flipped everything around, leaving many people upset.

In simpler terms, I faced immense challenges, but the one thing that gives me great satisfaction is knowing that I don’t care overly much about what others might think of me.
She went on to say: “What struck me as odd was the focus on someone’s appearance, whereas I could comprehend being judged based on my character and personality since it’s portrayed on TV. However, my physical appearance seems insignificant in this context.
Initially, people were commenting that my ears seemed unusually large. To which I responded, “They genuinely are.
‘But I’m not bothered if the worst thing about me is my ears are massive. I couldn’t give a sh*t.’
Even though she encountered internet bullying, Hannah still felt thankful towards Channel 4 for their persistent backing during the tough period.
She shared: “The program has been taking incredibly good care of me, and it continues to do so even today. If I were in trouble and needed assistance right now, I could call someone, and that’s truly remarkable because they take such great care of their people.
Previously, Hannah described her ‘absolute nightmare’ of a girl’s night during her appearance on the reality dating show last year.
She entered the program as a new arrival among the bride contestants, first getting married to Stephen Nolson, aged 33, initially.

Instead, Yet, the marriage fell apart swiftly after it was discovered that she had been secretively kissing Orson Nurse, who is 41 years old, while they were behind their fellow actors.
In short order, their marriage disintegrated following the revelation of her kissing Orson Nurse, a man of 41 years, secretly and without their co-stars’ knowledge.
Hannah then stunned viewers by arriving at the reunion hand in hand with Ryan Livesey, 28.
After a massive argument with her fellow brides, the television personality revealed the harrowing details of an unpleasant girls’ night out they had.
The dedicated fitness enthusiast remembered being “yelled at continuously for four hours” by the women during their reunion, and firmly stated that the intense episode was “made less dramatic during editing.
She shared with The Sun, “I endured a grueling four-hour ordeal that felt like living on a hellish earth. Every girl except Emma Barnes and Amy Kenyon was shouting at me.
Each girl visited me on occasion. Lacey, in particular, behaved poorly and was slightly reprimanded. The situation repeated itself multiple times, causing me to cry, and it was truly dreadful.
She stated, “I’m making an effort to progress, but it seems unjust that those girls can escape the consequences of their actions towards others. Frankly, I believe I was targeted by them during the show, resulting in a very unpleasant experience.
A representative from Channel 4 stated that the program offers an honest and authentic portrayal of what occurred while shooting.

Last week, the show reached a climactic point as the contestants gathered together for two exciting reunion episodes.
The Channel 4 show received more than 500 complaints from viewers due to its portrayal of ‘bullying’ and arguments, which left them feeling disturbed.
Following the broadcast of the dinner party, the regulatory body received 341 complaints, while the final episode on Thursday attracted 187 complaints.
Upon her return, Hannah sparked disagreements among the other girls that escalated into a significant dispute, a conflict that persisted until the concluding commitment ceremony.
The women from the cast felt offended by her actions, claiming she was pursuing their spouses, after her own marriage fell apart, which may have contributed to the show’s poor performance.
She moved on to Orson and the pair shared a passionate kiss in secret.
Stephen additionally made efforts to establish fresh bonds within the gathering by expressing enthusiasm towards Sionainn, yet she swiftly rejected his advances.
It wasn’t until after they had completed filming the series that Hannah and Ryan became acquainted off-camera, forging a strong bond between them.
They agreed to attend the reunion together despite knowing their ex-partners would be present.
