Married At First Sight star Drew Brauer announces engagement to girlfriend Sam Clark: ‘I’ve never known such happiness’

As a dedicated follower of reality TV, I have watched Drew Brauer’s journey unfold on Married At First Sight with bated breath, from his tumultuous marriage to KC Osborne to his subsequent single life. However, it was never my intention to judge the man based solely on his experiences in the reality bubble. So, when I learned of Drew’s engagement to Sam Clark, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction and happiness for him.

Having followed Drew’s social media posts, I could see that away from the cameras, he found love with someone who truly appreciates him – a genuine, loving relationship that seems to bring out the best in him. It’s a stark contrast to his tumultuous experience on MAFS and serves as a reminder that love is not always found where we expect it.

Drew’s words in his heartfelt tribute to Samantha were touching and genuine, making me believe that he has finally found the happiness he deserves. And when I saw their sweet photo with baby Rex, I couldn’t help but think: “I guess some things are worth waiting for!”

In reality, outside the scope of Married At First Sight, Drew Brauer might have found love instead.

The TV personality, who featured in the popular 2020 Channel Nine show, has shared that he is now engaged to his partner, Sam Clark.

Drew and Sam took to Instagram on Sunday to share the happy news with a series of romantic photos.

One photo showed the happy couple cuddling close as Sam held up a stunning diamond sparkler.

In a different picture, she was radiating widely, displaying her captivating engagement ring. This time, she was joyfully snuggling baby Rex, whom they had recently welcomed to their family in July.

In another shot, we see a detailed view of Sam’s hand with the ring once more, as Drew is visible in the backdrop, his face expressing a humorous look of surprise or shock.

Another photo showed the happy couple just moments after Drew popped the question. 

The look on Sam’s face suggested that she was overcome with emotion after accepting the proposal.

In simple terms, the charming carousel was completed with images indicating that Drew sought assistance from a family-used blackboard during his successful proposal endeavor.

As your devoted admirer, may I affectionately refer to you as ‘mine’ moving forward, implying an unwavering attachment that will persist indefinitely, Drew wrote in the captions.

‘I surprised Sam with a massage on Christmas Eve that had a very happy ending.’

As a devoted admirer, I find myself at a loss for words, struggling to articulate the depths of my emotions for you.

I’ve never experienced an irresistible pull towards anything as powerful as this in my entire life, it’s truly astounding. I can honestly say that I’ve never been this happy or felt this fortunate.

Drew added that his growing family had caused his heart to ‘triple in size.’  

In my universe, you and Rex hold a special place – they’re my heart, my sanctuary. My affection for you two transcends what I once thought was the limit of love. It feels as though my heart has multiplied, continually growing with each passing day as I discover more about you.

Drew concluded the post revealing the quirky nickname he has for his fiancé.

‘There’s plenty of fish in the ocean, but I choose you my blobfish,’ he wrote.

‘Thank you for choosing to experience whatever this life has to offer beside me.’

The post elicited numerous comments from friends, followers, and even Drew’s fiancée herself, sharing that his words had touched them deeply enough to bring tears to their eyes.

Sam responded, “I’m a jumbled mess once more upon reading that,” but what he really meant was, “I’m overwhelmed and confused again now that I read it,” and he added, “I adore you! It means the world to me that we share this journey of life together.

I’m incredibly joyful about the life and family we’ve built together so far… I often find myself tearing up just pondering on it. I’m truly thankful for your presence in my life, love.

Former Hi-5 star Nathan Foley also jumped in with: ‘Congratulations guys.’

Drew has been dating Samantha, better known by her stage name KAWEYOVA, for almost three years.

The pair encountered each other not long after Drew starred on Married At First Sight, an event where he married professional dancer KC Osborne.

After enduring some ups and downs in their relationship, they chose to remain united until the project’s completion. However, they parted ways not long after the filming ended.

In the whirlwind of reality TV stardom, I found myself momentarily drawn towards another MAFS alum, Michael Goonan. But my heart, it seemed, had other plans, and I eventually fell head over heels for the one and only, Blake Spriggs, who is now my beloved fiancé.

She welcomed her first child, a son named Brooklyn, with Blake in October.

Meanwhile, Drew and Sam welcomed their first child, Rex Kelai, in July.

The pair shared on Instagram a heartwarming picture of their new baby, who unexpectedly came into the world ahead of schedule, and wrote a touching message to announce his birth.

‘Our boy decided to join us Earthside earlier than expected,’ Sam wrote.

On the night of July 3rd, approximately at 10:26 pm, he was born following a particularly challenging and prolonged labor process that lasted over 30 hours, with more than an hour dedicated to delivery.

Sam added that the long labour meant little Rex had to spend some time in a special care unit.

Sam wrote: ‘Because my waters broke prematurely and I labored for more than 30 hours, our little boy had to spend a few extra nights in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) so they could keep an eye on his health.’

Ever since our bundle of joy joined our family, life has been a whirlwind for me and my fellow parents – hence the delay in sharing the news. Now, thankfully, things are beginning to find their rhythm again, allowing us to bask in the warmth of our little love nest with our precious baby boy.
