As a devoted fan, I find myself deeply moved by Mel Schilling’s courage and resilience. Her journey through cancer treatment is not just a fight against illness, but a testament to her strength and spirit. From her heartfelt updates on social media to her unwavering determination to prioritize health and wellbeing, Mel continues to inspire us all.
As a devoted follower, I’m sharing an important health update from relationship expert Mel Schilling. She’s currently undergoing recovery after completing chemotherapy treatments for her colon cancer.
On a thrilling Thursday, I, an ardent admirer, gleefully delved into the Instagram realm, where our beloved relationship guru graciously bestowed upon us a gallery of images. This visual feast showcased a snapshot of her vibrant day’s sustenance, meticulously tailored to aid her remarkable journey towards recovery.
Next to a picture of Chobani Greek yogurt mixed with muesli, Mel posted an optimistic message: “My recovery from chemotherapy involves regaining my strength.
Protein plays a significant role, and Chobani au stands out as having the most protein among all yogurts I’ve come across. Plus, it’s tasty! It’s hard not to admire that combination… who wouldn’t appreciate it? Empowered women require nourishing sustenance.
It seems like the post is an advertisement sponsored by a well-known food and drink brand, which Mel is endorsing.
She also posted a happy snap of her posing up a storm at a Sydney spa, after she finished a flotation treatment, and wrote alongside it: ‘Soaking up that sweet magnesium’.
Last year, Mel received a startling cancer diagnosis. Since then, she has had surgery to take out a tumor and has now finished her chemotherapy treatment.
In December, the television personality disclosed her unexpected health struggle, which included a colon operation performed near the close of the year.

She shared that a team of UK physicians had surgically taken out her tumor, which she affectionately called ‘Terry.’ Unfortunately, the malignancy continued to advance from her colon into the surrounding muscles, causing Mel to learn that she required chemotherapy. Starting from late February, she initiated this treatment course.
She recently provided fans with an uplifting update on her health as she returned to Sydney to film the 2025 series of MAFS.
On Instagram, Mel expressed her joy over returning to Australia, more precisely, at Bondi Beach, where she plans to reside for a few months ahead.

On MAFS, Mel, known for her blend of kindness and straightforwardness, openly discussed the difficulties of being away from her family. However, she pointed out that this separation would not last as long as it has in the past.
She clarified, “This time it will be roughly six to seven weeks, but I’ve taken on challenges lasting even longer. You see, we’ve been apart for three months in the past, and this duration is significantly shorter.
Eager to make the best use of her time in Australia, Mel shared that she intends to focus on improving her health and overall wellness during these coming months.
