Married At First Sight 'cheaters' Jono McCullough and Ellie Dix share major news: 'Swipe to the end'

As a devoted follower of reality TV and a connoisseur of love stories that unfold both on and off-screen, I must admit, Jono McCullough and Ellie Dix’s journey has been nothing short of enthralling. Their one year anniversary together, marked by the purchase of a house in Burleigh Heads, is a testament to their resilience and the power of second chances.

Married At First Sight ‘cheaters’ Jono McCullough and Ellie Dix have shared shocking news.

On Sunday, they shared a post on Instagram to mark their first anniversary as a couple, having met on a dating program broadcasted by Channel Nine.

Originally paired with different partners on MAFS, Jono and Ellie appeared to be deeply enamored as they struck a pose together in a joint social media post showcasing a series of images of their joyful duo.

In the caption, they wrote, ‘One year together!’ before reflecting on their relationship.

They also instructed their followers to ‘swipe to the end’ for a surprise.

In pure, uncontainable enthusiasm, I couldn’t help but let out a squeal as I beheld the last image of the series – it was none other than our beloved Ellie, leaping onto Jono, all happening next to a ‘Sold’ real estate sign outside a property. Simply breathtaking!

It appears that the lovebirds have jointly moved into a home in Burleigh Heads, suggesting they’re settling down following their turbulent stint on reality TV.

‘I guess it would’ve been easier to have just met you online like normal people but at least we have a great story to tell,’ the MAFS participants wrote in their caption.

‘Cheers to MAFS for the hookup,’ they joked.

‘We’ve done so much in one year together,’ they added, before listing the highlights together.

In simpler terms, we’ve been open about our relationship, avoided paparazzi, had moments that were captured and made headlines, even surpassing King Charles in some magazines (a humorous take), faced intense criticism online (which has built our characters significantly; also, remember, not everything on reality TV is truthful).

‘We’ve had loads of amazing opportunities and met so many beautiful people all around the world.’

In the comments, fellow MAFS alum Andrea Thompson chimed in.

She expressed, “I adore you all so deeply, and I’m impressed by how you’ve managed the twist in that series finale, making it seem so out of context. You exhibit such grace, dignity, and I take pride in being your friend, a part of this heartwarming little love tale.

‘This is so sweet you guyssss,’ said the pair’s fellow MAFS compatriot Cassandra Allen.

‘Congratulations guys and nobody bought the false story lines. Wishing you all the very best and to the haters two words ….. Suck It,’ wrote someone else.

‘Congratulations to you both. So nice to see you so happy Ellie,’ another fan remarked.
