Married At First Sight bride and mother-of-two Melissa Rawson reveals the ‘vile messages’ that made her take family post down
As an ardent fan of Melissa Rawson, it’s heart-wrenching to see such a vibrant and relatable personality being targeted by online trolls. Melissa, a mother of two adorable twins, Levi and Tate, has been sharing her journey as a mommy blogger with us all – the ups, downs, laughter, and tears that come with raising little ones.
On social media, Married At First Sight‘s Melissa Rawson posted a touching video, explaining that she removed a joyful family photo because of persistent online bullying.
A popular television personality, aged 35, who is married to Bryce Ruthven and has twin boys with him, recently shared a challenging video on Instagram.
Melissa, visibly emotional, explained, “You may have observed that I took down a video due to excessive trolling. Some individuals have accused me of being indifferent towards my kids and made similar comments.
Regularly sharing amusing and relatable tales about the trials of rearing her two-year-old twins, Levi and Tate, Melissa keeps busy as a lively mommy blogger.
Nevertheless, certain of her posts have drawn criticism from internet bullies, who disapprove of her candid style in sharing content.
Melissa mentioned that she had to remove a post due to aggressive online critics who not only disapproved of its content, but also displayed unkind behavior towards those who agreed with her.
She stated that some individuals who followed her were being malicious, so she chose to eliminate it since nobody should experience such behavior.
She mentioned that she would reduce the frequency of her ‘mommy blogging’ to keep internet bullies from bothering her followers.
“From now on, I’ll limit the amount of information I provide to the twins. It’s important that nobody is criticized or targeted for backing me up. I find it unacceptable when people resort to sending offensive messages.
Afterward, Melissa posted a video of herself peacefully reading a book in bed, accompanied by a bold caption.
As someone who is often targeted by trolls yet finds immense support from others, here’s my experience.
Belinda Vickers, a fellow MAFS cast member, wrote, “You’re truly extraordinary,” while someone else commented, “Ignore the negative comments from online trolls!
Melissa and Bryce welcomed their twin boys in October 2021.
In July that particular year, they shared the exciting news of their upcoming marriage along with the fact that they were expecting a baby.
In the 2020 season of “Married at First Sight,” Bryce and Melissa developed a deep affection for each other, with their blossoming romance being captured on camera.
